Blademaster isn't a mod's actual title, Ed. On any non-Misc, non-General board, I'm just listed as Veteran.

You're a newbie as long as certain individuals who shall remain unnamed use generic insults against you. Once they become specific, you've become a tried and true member.

?Alorael, who could also make being sniped for signature theft part of the criteria. But that would lead to too much work for him, so he'd appreciate it if you ignored this.

This topic is certainly a spamful topic. I like my number too... 919... it's wonderful, and under the 1000 member number line, which, in my opinion, is a good cut-off.

?Sir David, who wishes to thank Alorael for, once again, verifying that he lost his newbiehood shortly after his first post. And for doing it a different way each time.

Since newbiehood is such a vague concept, the definition shifts depending on your mood and everyone else's.

?Alorael, who will just have to say that newbie is as newbie does. And stealing signatures is very newbie-ish! Tsk, tsk.

You must not like your number much, as it is 919, not 959 IMAGE(biggrin1.gif) .

After running a quick check, I found out that the best number on the boards belongs to Kamakaski.

Someone, I think it was Rosycat, got a bit worked up about that a while ago. She put stuff like "Kamakaski is the answer" in her sig.

My number's boring. IMAGE(frown001.gif)
Who are the first ten members, btw? I know Spidweb, Schrodinger, TM, Drakey, but noone else.
edit: OK, I did a wee search and it didn't return anything for 2,6,8,9,10, and who's Mystery Man? Don't tell me it's a mystery, that's just sad.
re-edit:and who are 1000 and 3000? They didn't return anything either....

1000 is Thousand. Undoubtedly someone's idea of fun, just as Ed Lemur took 2000 and named himself 2k. 3000 is an invisible newbie.

The members from 1 to 10 are:

Spidweb - the official Spiderweb admin account.

Krizsan - Mariann's account, not used for a long time.

Schrodinger

TM - currently known as Deacon

Mystery Man- was a moderator, then a member, and then left.

Stareye, or *i (get it?) - BoE posse. You'd better know him.

Drakey

Scorpius - Had many names and accounts. Was a mod, then a member, then left, came back, left, etc. Currently gone.

Tie-my-shoe - Ex-mod who remained a moderator long after he was gone.

Dubh Amacath - Better known as Timon the Minstrel. Again, was a mod, then left.

?Alorael, who hopes that makes things slightly clearer. If not, well, you should have been around for those good ol' days!

He's member 42. You know, the answer to life, the universe, and everything, according to a certain Mr. Adams?

?Alorael, who would not bring that up any more than necessary. 42 is, for reasons unknown, a sore point on these boards.

All you have to do is create 991 (as of today) placeholder accounts, and you could have 4242. Better get busy.

Really, I never did anything of the sort! Well, I never put it in my sig.... IMAGE(tongue01.gif)

And I know why the 42 thing's a sore point around here. Because Alec decreed it would be so. Ssssh, Arancan'tremembertherest, Alec's watching! IMAGE(eek00000.gif) *waits to get flamed*

EDIT: Anyway, me getting a bit worked up? Aren't you the Lemmings Fre@k?

And my member number is really nice. Plus, when using Alorael's definition, I'm no n00b! Let's see, I'm scarily naive, I try to be too cute, I'm "generic female internet user type 1" or summit... IMAGE(smile001.gif)

I'm beginning to notice that every single post you make contains some kind of negative reference to this Alec character. You being the only person I've noticed thus far to exhibit such a unique characteristic, I've been set to wondering: Why? Did he jilt you horribly or something?

I am telling you the truth before anyone of desp gets here. Yes. Rosy and Alec had fights. Mainly because Rosy is, as Alec stated, 'naive', and likes Dougie, and indie rock (it was indie rock, wasn't it?).

IT has to at least be 2000

It's true I spent most of my time on misc, but...
I haven't been here in a while.
