There is not going to be an Avernum 4. Seriously, I think there should be a message on top of the forum saying "There will not be an Avernum 4. Nothing you post here will make Jeff Vogel change his mind. It will not happen. Don't bother asking." Or something along those lines.

Once again, give up. There have been many, many topics about Avernum 4. As I said, it won't work. Give up. Go design a BoE scenario or something.

How nice to see that the universe continues to win its eternal contest with software designers. (If you don't understand the reference, tough.) In all seriousness, you are requesting a rather substantial miracle. Even if Jeff intended to write an Avernum 4, which he has said he does not, writing it in 48 hours is utterly impossible.

Hoyven mafen, there's a lot of topic on this going around. It's like a disease, and I hope it's not contagious. I nearly ripped another topic a new one until I saw it was 'Connect 4'. IMAGE(Avernum 4_files/tongue.gif)

I, personally, would like there to be an Avernum 4, but as a non-BoA designer this is a selfish dream, and as a member of the universe, filled as it is with physical laws, this is vaguely akin to my liking there to be a way for me to pay for everything I'd ever need or want without working.

I think A4 would be cool... and if Jeff can't think of any new ideas, like aside from A/E and GF, who knows? The second option is a bit extreme, especially for Jeff, though... =]
