It's spam. We hate spam. Plus I am utterly amazed this spambot has been powerful enough to post three threads so far and even more amazed that the forum is still standing after this. I think therefore I spam. LiFe iS a boWL oF CHeRRy's /wonders why spambots here always open their own topics when others in other forums just post in every thread they see as active. /Thinks thank goodness for small mercies. Next person to say I'm a noob gets lynched </red eyes> Anyway, the Spiderweb Archives are just that. You can't post but you caan view. Feel free to experiance the horrible deprivations of the early years such as the reign of TM, Ed, Arghhhhhhhhh and the noob invasion. On a side-note. Why is it you can view this (as in THIS as in what I'm posting in right now) while in the archives. I mean I can view what's currently on this forum while in the Pied Piper project archives. It all shows up in the archive style of display (green PPP1/2/3/etc markers around everything) but shows all posts. Not just the ones you find in the archive. I think I've lost the plt somewere along the line here. -------------------- I have just realised I have reached 200 posts. The problem is I have absolutely no idea how I made them! One more. Why have I suddenly got over 200 posts? No, honestly. I don't want to get in trouble with the law. I don't want a smear on my [insert whatever half-deads have] for the rest of my internet days (I have a friend who aquired "hack" abilities once and mis-used them, he still regrets it in our Xfire chats) and I most certainly don't want JV turning up on my door-step. I was asking because I think I meet him. A guy played on one of the servers I do, hated everyone. Acted in a manner VERY like Ed did and left shouting behind him he was going to get even with all us ____ and those _____ ADMIN that he lost all that ____ money (In-game money, Credits) to for that _____ trick they played on poor, innocent little him. -------------------- I have just realised I have reached 200 posts. I'd like to know a few things that have been bugging me for a time. Why does the Spiderweb Archives always make posts in 9-letter format extending all the way down the page? Does anyone have an example of Ed's Emails to *i and can someone discribe his hacking attempts? (This is more then a simple case of interest on my part) Are the events in Episode's 1,2 and 3 in anyway relevent to the actual occurances on Spiderweb? Is there any way to save your sanity from the Turtles? Thank you. -------------------- Thinking about it, whoever manages to harness the power of "Exodus" would be unstoppable. In training? This is just like the A2 Slith Quest. You either have to cold-bloodedly slaughter a large number of innocent Slith babies or you let the quest hang in the air. Morals or bad scripting? Both these quests needed a "Sorry I can't" option. And the whole series needs a "Remove Quest" option. Not JV bashing here, just saying this does need to be looked into a bit more. -------------------- Thinking about it, whoever manages to harness the power of "Exodus" would be unstoppable. I have been seriously impressed by all the Episodes, however Episode 3 I found slightly annoying by the repeated use of "It dies" or "He dies" or "XXX dies". You could put something more effective in the dialog for Episode 4. -------------------- Jeran Korak-Half-Drow You insult me, you insult my sword! I thought the "one click two spaces" thing was a bug. It annoyed the hell out of me more times then I can remember befire I found out about the "other" movement button. Use the right mouse button for precision movment and the left to travel fast. Buts its a pain as a singleton searching things as if you tap the wrong button you go two spaces away from the object you want to search. -------------------- Thinking about it, whoever manages to harness the power of "Exodus" would be unstoppable.
