I'd like to know a few things that have been bugging me for a time.

Why does the Spiderweb Archives always make posts in 9-letter format extending all the way down the page?

Does anyone have an example of Ed's Emails to *i and can someone discribe his hacking attempts? (This is more then a simple case of interest on my part)

Are the events in Episode's 1,2 and 3 in anyway relevent to the actual occurances on Spiderweb?

Is there any way to save your sanity from the Turtles?

Thank you.

1. Ask Aran. Actually, you did already. Wait for Aran to answer.

2. You'll have to be a little more forthcoming about reasons before *i starts handing over emails, I think. Doubly so for hacking attempts.

3. Any resemblance to real events, living or dead is purley coincidental. Well, mostly. Persons are another matter entirely.

4. No.

Dikiyoba's episodes are pretty much eyewitness accounts of actual events. Written shortly after the events happened by a participant and immediate observer, they are invaluable records of some of the most remarkable recent times in the history of this community.

The only really important inaccuracy in the episodes has been the subject of fierce debate. Dikiyoba omitted all mention of how bad the Ur-Noob smelled. Some people object to this suppression of a fact that no-one who was there can ever forget. Dikiyoba's supporters insist that they be allowed to try.

1. There are two solutions here:

a) get a browser that doesn't wreak havoc with CSS directives, like Firefox or Opera.

b) wait until I have time to figure out what the hell IE is doing with that column width.

I'll try to get on it some time during the weekend, but no promises.

2. I have seen Ed's emails to Stareye, but they are only on the mod board. Suffice to say that they are alternating between pathetic pleading, ridiculous ranting, incomprehensible insults, and preposterous profanity.

I am having trouble imagining Ed capable of anything more than very pathetic phishing ("This is SPIDERWEB BOARD ADMINASTORATION! You acount has disabled. Send ur username and pass to be unbanned."), but who knows.

"More than a simple case of interest..." mh? You wish to use that hack yourself? :P

3. None of Dikiyoba's writings have anything more in common with reality than the gimmicks and insider jokes.

4. No. No, there is not.

5. No problem, you're welcome.

I got an email/s from Ed too.
Also, letting go my sanity was the best thing that ever happened to me.

No, honestly. I don't want to get in trouble with the law. I don't want a smear on my [insert whatever half-deads have] for the rest of my internet days (I have a friend who aquired "hack" abilities once and mis-used them, he still regrets it in our Xfire chats) and I most certainly don't want JV turning up on my door-step.

I was asking because I think I meet him. A guy played on one of the servers I do, hated everyone. Acted in a manner VERY like Ed did and left shouting behind him he was going to get even with all us ____ and those _____ ADMIN that he lost all that ____ money (In-game money, Credits) to for that _____ trick they played on poor, innocent little him.

Looks like this is turning into a survey, so...

1. You are not worthy of beholding the awsomeness of PPP archive, unless you can read them through lynx.

2. I can demonstrate Ed's presumed "hacking" techniques ... just give me your login name and password. :P

3. Yes, everybody here has been killed multiple times by armies of noobs, friendly fire, etc.

4. Yes. The best methods include, but are not limited to:
a) Don't have any.
b) Use stick figure cartoons to distract them.
c) Be the master of the turtle pit.

PS If you wanted boring real answers, just read Alorael's post.

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

I also got an email from that little twerp once. First it was a pathetic plead to get me on his side, then following that was an even more pathetic insult for shooing the punk off. I then proceeded to block him from sending me more emails. God I hate that freak.

One more.

Why have I suddenly got over 200 posts? I remember only about a dozen, and theres no evidence in the archives that supports my post-count.

1) Arancaytar has all his plans for world domination in there somewhere. Rather than go through it all and delete them, he's just made the archives too difficult to read through.

2) Serious answer: there are other examples of immaturity and stupidity besides Ed on the Internet.

3) Every word is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Even the typos.

4) You could try eating it yourself.

5) Serious answer: check your recent posts in your profile to see fifty of them.

Dikiyoba.

Trust me. They weren't that memorable, so it is entirely possible that you aren't missing anything.

(Forgive the slight bump)

Who is Boots and what are these BORK threads? Of all the things here they have been some of the most confusing.

Fixed your typos. Don't know why I'm so pedantic this morning. Though 'script kiddie-ing' was probably a better replacement.

/Thinks personally that stealing gimmicks and avoiding avenging ADMIN for his last case of epic Necromancy was perferable to this.
