I think we should hold an art contest. There could be several categories, such as caricatures (I'm guessing this will be the most popular), images (including things like scanned paintings computer-generated drawings, animated GIFs, etc., but no caricatures), audio (music, rants, comedy, etc.), and textual (short stories, poems, rants, etc.) Obviously, BoX scenarios and graphics would not be eligible, since we regularly hold separate contests for those. I listen to a bit of everything, but no modern pop (although I listen to pop in combination with genres on the rock&roll-grindcore spectrum), and the only hip-hop I listen to is Gym Class Heroes, an emo/hip-hop band. My favorite rock bands/artists are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, AC/DC, and Billy Joel. My favorite grindcore band is the band whose name rhymes with Banal Punt. My favorite metal band is Pantera. My favorite disco band is Electric Light Orchestra. I love They Might Be Giants (links to their official sites in my sig), who don't really fit into a particular genre, although they have definite rock and pop influences. My favorite classical composers are Gustav Holst and Edvard Grieg. My favorite swing band is the Glenn Miller Orchestra. My favorite punk band is Bad Religion, and my favorite emo band is Something Corporate (the lead singer apparently has leukemia unfortunately). I saw some online somewhere, and I made some myself. I didn't make a map for the third one though because it sucks. Please hold while I search. EDIT: Luz's RotS map at The Blazing Blades EDIT 2: No map is available for QotS. I will upload my own maps momentarily. EDIT 3: Okay, here are the maps I made. Note that they (obviously) may spoil some of the sense of adventure and exploration that is part of what makes these scenarios so good, so be careful. In the RotS and QotS maps, solid lines are vines, and dotted lines leading to an isle mean the isle must be accessed in a different way than simply walking along a vine. The vines are placed approximately where they appear in relation to the isle. RotS Map QotS Map In the QotS Slith Caves map, solid-colored quares with arrows represent tunnels. Arrows pointing up are tunnel entrances, and arrows pointing down are tunnel exits. Similarly colored squares represent the entrance(s) and exit of the same tunnel. Rise of the Triad is a first-person shooter, not an RPG. It's not even very good. EDIT: But I remember the first time I installed it on my computer, years ago. I had seen my cousin play it and thought it was cool (I had never seen a true 3-D game before, nor had I seen an FPS), so I played it. I thought it was fun at the time, but it's nothing compared to Doom or Unreal Tournament. When I tried to install it on my computer, my mother looked at the back of the box. She read it aloud to everyone in the room. It was something like, "Fill your foes with lead. If it moves, kill it." etc. She didn't want to let me install it, but my cousin convinced her to let me, provided he turned off the gore and passworded it so I couldn't turn it back on. I got bored of it pretty fast though. It's actually just extended vertigo, really. I experience it all the time, whether I want to or not. I've been told it's because I don't get enough exercise. Once I fell over the sofa and onto the floor on the other side, knocking over a lamp in the process, and lay shaking, unable to sense anything outside my body, for about 30 seconds. Luckily I wasn't hurt and the lamp didn't break, but it still wasn't pleasant. As far as I know, vertigo is caused by a sudden loss of blood to the head, generally by suddenly changing position from lying, sitting, or crouching to standing. I'm guessing extended vertigo can be dangerous, so I wouldn't do that again if I were you. My cousins and brother seem to love doing it though. They call it a "Space Monkey". They don't believe me when I say it's dangerous.
