If you accompany it with a description we may be able to parse together something. Your other option is to e-mail Jeff Vogel, although I sincerely doubt he will do anything about it at this point. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! The editor can be changed because we have source code. However, the game itself cannot. To add music would require modification to both, or at very least the sound files that come with the game. The only possible may I could see to implement music would be to change one of the ambient sounds in the appropriate file to the music you want. The answer is to try it with a toy scenario and if it works, great. If not, no loss. At any rate, Spiderweb will NOT host your scenario if you do this. Well, Alexandria may be interested in this. Imban also seems to be one to collect all sorts of BoE lore. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

A mod pretty much skims topics on his/her forum and makes sure everyone is following the rules. Pretty much goes: be reasonable. No blaitantly off topic posts, no obscene images, nothing overly argumentative, etc. Should this occur, the mod deals with this by either locking or deleting a topic. Should the behavior be recurring or excessive, this is reported to the mod board for further review of the member's connduct. If you are interested, feel free to PM me with info of what you would like to moderate, especially if you would like to do one of the less active forums. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! 1) Yes. This would imply that you are moving west but decelerating. Think of acceleration as the rate at which your velocity is changing. If you are speeding up, it is positive and in the same direction; if you are slowing down, it is negative and in the opposite direction. 2) Well, the best way to do this is to draw out the forces in what is called a Free-Body Diagram. I suggest reading up on these as it will allow you to theoretically allow you to solve any mechanics problem. If I am picturing this correctly, you have a box of 50 kg on a flat surface being pulled by an external force (T) 20 degrees with respect to the surface. Friction (f) always acts in the opposite of the direction of motion, it will always oppose an applied force. The equations I get are: F_x = Tcos(20) - f = ma_x F_y = N - mg = 0 F_x = forces in x direction F_y = forces in y direction T = external/applied force f = friction force m = mass of block a_x = acceleration in x-direction N = normal force exerted by the ground upon the block g = gravitation accelration 9.81 m/s^2 Also note that f = mu*N where mu is the coefficient of friction. Hope this helps. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

The engine and execution is well done I grant you. However, the plot is pathetically predictable and would have been a lot better had it been just about ANYTHING else. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Why one would want them is beyond me. :) I don't think you can still get them anywhere on the web. You might try asking over at the Lyceum or Polaris...there are more people who are more venerate and may even have those files that they could send you directly. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Richard White's games were not abhorrent...Galactic Core was a nice distraction, but I would never buy it. It is just too much like every other similar game. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |
