Terrain Errors in Blades of Avernum Editor
Havoc Apprentice Member # 5963	written Saturday, July 2 2005 14:38 Profile #0 For some reason, if I put custom floors or terrains into the Terrain Graphics File, then Blades of Avernum crashes whenever I try to enter a scenario, whether it's the one I'm working on or someone else's. I haven't tampered with the permanant files, and the problem goes away when I remove the custom images. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? A Large Rebellion help in Blades of Avernum
Havoc Apprentice Member # 5963	written Saturday, July 2 2005 13:21 Profile #17 I made the script changes suggested here, and now the game crashes when I try to load my game. Any ideas? EDIT: Nevermind; I was causing the crashes myself doing something else. But the changes don't seem to be taking effect. EDIT: Oh, I never told you what changes I'd made. Duh. Um, the first problem with the not being able to put gold in the cauldron. I did the change with the editor that has been suggested (giving it the script and putting the number in the memory node) but it still doesn't work. LONG STORY (in case you were wondering): I had a problem with the editor, so my dad (who's good at computer programming) came to help but he was just as confused as me and ended up destroying the resource file so I have to hunt down the CD and re-install the thing.
