Ash — Well, you are right. They would deserve it. I just don't think that Andrew Demetrio (sp?) would allow it. Anyway, speaking of Grand Finals, my leagues granny is on the weekend, I'll have to go and have look. My cousin is also playing in the u/15 netball Grand Final. I hope its good.

Damn, is he really? I was way off.

I think that the AFL will keep it in Victoria regardless of the teams playing in it, as they will want as much money as they can for the league, and Victoria will provide.

No. MCG will be the ground for the 'Granny' this year, and hopefully every other team. The MCG is the home of footy.

kuc — Shaun Rehn also played sveral great seasons with Hawthorn, IIRC.

Did you make this up yourself?

A) Well, yes, they do, but I'm not sure on any of the laws surrounding this, so I'm not sure wether or not it, by law, has to be returned.

B) I would say a small amount. It was Mr. A's, not the familys. 10 — 20%.

C) No. The insurance company does, if it covers that kind of thing.

D) Yes, they would. Mr. A should get the painting back, but Mr. C shouldn't be punished, as it was his fathers crime.

Speaking of Gaelic, Ash, who do you think will captain the all Australian side this year? I think it would be Ben Cousins or Nick Reidwoldt, they are both good players, and pretty popular.

I do like Adelaide, just not Port Adelaide. For Adelaide, Nigel Smart was an excellent player.

Milne's 11 goals was amazing...the Sainters thrashed Brisbane.

I keep teasing my father, as he is a Bulldogs supporter, and because my team (Essendon) lost, they are out of the finals. :P

Thuryl — and for the idiots who don't like any other team by love footy anyway.

kuc — I don't know, the best out of the bottom four are Geelong, but even they are no good...interesting to see the results.

They're sailing well at the moment and I think they have a big chance. Mind, St Kilda looked very scary while they were thrashing Brisbane, so it'll be interesting to see how that game goes without Riccutio.

I hope Port do well - I'd love to see an all-Adelaide final.

Port can kiss my behind, I hate them.

And I think that the Saints will kill Adelaide; 5 excellent players in, Fraser Gherig a.k.a the 'G-train' and Xavier Clarke, to name two. And with their inspirational leader out, I think that Adleaide will be very depleted.

Ah, but you see, footy is the most watched sport in Australia, and most likley the most played. Causing others pain is so fun. Even better when you are allowed.

Australian Football Leauge. Its played, obviously, in Austrlaia. Two teams of 18 people try and get an oval shaped leather football through two big sticks at the end of the football ground, an oval. You can kick or handball it to your other teammates, and you can tackle the opposition when they have the ball, but you cannot trip, tackle head high, throw the ball or tackle them when they don't have the ball.

Ok, the AFL has reached the finals...West Coast, Adelaide, St. Kilda, Geelong, Port Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Kangaroos and Sydney all have a chance of winning the coveted AFL premiership. So, I ask all who know/care what I'm on about: Who do you think will win the premiership in 2005? I personally think that West Coast or Sydney will win, as they are both excellent sides. Sydney's forward line is especially good, with big bad bustlin' Barry Hall as their leading man.

College. The Aussie system is different, its primary school (5yrs — 12yrs) and then college/secondary school (13yrs — 18yrs). There is university also, but thats optional, and is the Australian version of college to Americans.
