Wow, Alo's little segment actually had me thinking they were only minor spelling mistakes until I saw that all the inside letters were randomly scrambled. That was cool.

Thuryl's, on the other hand, I can't get. Sue me.

First: Mung, you realize you're only slightly more than halfway to your next title. It's not coming super quick.

But anyway, we really haven't had a "successful" RP since I joined in June, except for maybe Valley of Thunder, which was pretty much complete by that time. I'd say we're about due, though I don't know if I'd want to join just yet.

Heh. The way I think about it, if you're going to recreate a Valorim for a scenario, you mays well make it good for all the work it would take. Wow, remaking E3 exactly, though, that would be tough. Do you think it's more than 100 outdoor sections?

Lock TM's topic after it reaches 400 replies. I haven't seen one of those yet in my existance here. :)

Yep, yep, yep. Kaos, hated as I am, I don't post hardly any new topics of my own anymore, though I used to a lot. Just try not to post topics we've already had a discussion on in the recent era. Go back a couple pages if you don't know what we've been talking about before you came here.

Because he's not ever going to get a custom title, according to Drakey.

Anyway, speaking of cross-platforming, I've tried out emulators of, say, SNES games, and they work great. Has anyone else tried this?

Hmm, I like the format a lot better than the first one, with the points system. It should generate worthwhile reviews instead of just reveiws.

Then the file itself must be corrupted. Try to download it from a different site or just forget about it.

lol. I think it would be pretty cool too. You could just play the latest scenarios even when you're away from home. It wouldn't take that much extra time and money, would it?

The vahnatai give it to you in BoE, too.

Also, a topic very similar to this has just been started here.

Er, why? Just buy the game.

Besides, it would take very, very long and be nothing new for most of the Blades community. You'd be better off making and playing custom scenarios.

But if you want to, be my guest.

I think you get it in the Vahnatai Cave accessed off of the Library. Just talk to the three vahnatai by the fire.

Okay, thanks guys. On my compiler, I have to type
#include <stdlib.h>
...
system("pause");
to get it to pause anyway. Just doing return 0; doesn't do it. I'll try it out.

EDIT: Cool. It works just fine. Two more questions come to mind, though:

1. How can you clear just a portion of the screen?
2. Is there an easy way to have the program respond to a click by the user?

Oh, come on. Books can be a good source of entertainment, and good time-killer, and a good way to home up your reading skills. Additionally, most, even fiction, are very educational.

Alright, I'm still a beginner, so keep that in mind.

Okay, so I made a Tic-Tac-Toe game, and it seems to work pretty good. The problem is, whenever someone selects a space for their move, the program redraws the board below, with the correct changes made. After a few moves, it starts to look kind of confusing with all the different boards.

Is there some way I can just draw the new board on top of the original one each time someone moves so the same board just changes instead of drawing a whole new one.

If you know what I mean... :rolleyes:

NightWatch by Terence Dickinson.

Or not, if you're looking for fiction.

You might possibly look here and see if you can find some more of them Aesop fables. :'
