The Bible is an interesting read - yes, but it doesn't work as a life's guideline in the 21st century. The bible was written a long, long, long time ago, and the people then hadn't even heard, or dreamt of what we could do today. And if God knew about it - why didn't he tell his scribes (Moses, etc.) all about computers, and subways, and September 11, Bin Laden, and so on. The bible simply isn't relevent anymore. It's the religious people who decide it now.
