New Scenarios in Blades of Avernum

Dollop of Whipped Cream Member # 391	written Tuesday, September 12 2006 21:53 Profile Homepage #25 This is as good a time as any to announce that my first scenario, In the Twilight Shadows, is probably about 15% done, it's progress hampered by the fact that I'm still learning Avernumscript. It certainly will not be ready in time for the contest though, and even if it were, it would never win. As this is my first scenario, I'm shooting for the "at least marginally better than Nephilim Mystery" category. :P Oh, and Lazarus has a period on the end of his name because he changed his name to follow some meme or other a while back, and a new member decided to create an account with the Login name of Lazarus. UBB does not allow anyone to have a PDN that is the same as someone else's login name. That is why I have a period on the end of my name as well, since I recently obtained this account, and Tyranicus is the login name for #6489. Some Nice Weather in General

It got me out of school, and it was pretty cool. Other than that it's been the crazy one non-stop snow during winter and burning during the summer in NY, and before that sunny and hot all year in dr. The printers would NEVER work, and you’d only get to go to the lab once at week (if it was working at the time, which was highly unlikely). Nonetheless, the school had hundreds of stupid rules, which they refused to explain. Like: 1) Guys had to cut their hair at least once every three months. Depending on how long and fast it grew 2) You couldn't use hair gel 3) You couldn't wear nail polisher 4) You had to wear your ID at all times. Yes, that's right, wear it. It had a little clip, and you'd attach it to your shirt 5) You couldn't curse, let alone curse at your teacher (NYC public schools are so tolerant) 6) There was no way of you getting out of school unless you were sick or your parent would come pick you up. (In NYC you can just walk out). And it was real hard to pretend to be sick too (trust me I tried :P ) with the school nurse and all, whom I must add, sucked. She'll give you half of a pill if you were really sick, and her solution for a headache was putting ice on your forehead. And there are plenty more, but it's been a while. Anyways, I can see how it would be practical and/or useful to get account to get in touch with high school friends. However, I do just fine without it. If I wanted to stay in touch with you (or anyone in high school), then I would: through AIM, MSN, E-mail, and the phone of course. If you don't have any of the above (my Sn, email address, phone #), and I don't have yours, then I don't see why I'd care much about hearing from you.
