Rosy sighed, closed her book and turned down her music. She had been trying to immerse herself in Arthur and Fenchurchs' romance, but uncharacteristically, she just couldn't get into it. "I'm bored. What should I do?" "Try singing," replied The Grammar Wench. "But don't try reading my book." "Why not? Grammar mistakes?" "Nope. Nasty people." "Heathcliff?" "Yes." "Oooooh." "I thought you were going to sing?" "Oh. right; The wheels on the bus go round and round, Round and round, Round and round..." Sir David looked up at her. "Could you stop that?" "I guess. It wasn't that fun anyway." Rosy stood up and stretched. "Skribbane, anyone? Lethalis? Riibu? Sparky?" "You will not call me Sparky." -------------------- Aces off. Um... a few words of advice. Stop trying RIGHT AWAY. If you are a sensible person, or at least one with average tastes, you don't want to play Galactic Core. Really. You don't. At all. Take my word on this. -------------------- Aces off. Posts: 611 | Registered: Friday, January 3 2003 08:00 |

Rosycat was sitting on the floor beside the Grammar Wench, listening to the Pixies at a rather loud volume and reading a battered copy of So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish. When Exar Kun made his dramatic entrance, she looked up briefly, turned down Where is My Mind? and grinned at him. "Hi! I'm Rosycat!" "Hey." "Nice bus, isn't it?" "Yeah." "Do you have any fresh, juicy bats for me to eat?" "Nope." "#@&$ you. Have a nice day." Then she turned her music back up and returned to her book, opening a packet of Roasted Rat Snax. -------------------- Aces off. Posts: 611 | Registered: Friday, January 3 2003 08:00 |

I have two computers, a fairly advanced PC and a four-year old Apple Powerbook. In the past I have always registered Spidweb's games on the Mac because they came out sooner for it. However, that computer is getting fairly old and the keyboard is even missing a couple key caps. Also, it does not have easy internet access. I would like to register BoE on my spanking new PC, but in the demo, although I can use the Scen. Editor fine on it, it crashes the computer when ever I try to make a party for Valley of Dying Things. I've tried re-downloading it. Doesn't work. Oh, and there are no tech problems on my Powerbook. Does anybody know whether the crashes would go away if I registered on the PC, or should I just put up with my fuddy-duddy Mac? Thanks, -Rosycat -------------------- Aces off. The pink nephil, eh, you all know me, hopped on to the bus, twirling lithely around the poles which people used to keep their balance. She made her way to the back, yowling "That's me On the beachside, combing the sand Metal meter in my hand Sporting a pocket full of change That's me on the street with a violin under my chin Playin' with a grin Singing gibberish That's me On the back Of the bus..." etcetera, etcetera. When she had finished, she slumped on to one of the greened seats and tried to begin conversation with the person nearest her, who diligently and earnestly began ignoring her. So she moved away from him. "Fine, be that way. OY, BUS DRIVER SIR, WHERE CAN I SET UP MY STUFF?" Although she was yelling quite loudly, Rosy's cries were drowned out by ADoS revving the engine of the bus, and he didn't reply. The nephil wasted no time in pulling 1 plastic Batman figurine 1 crucible 18 vials with various ingredients in them 1 spare pair of combat boots 3 spare pairs of earrings 2 litres of Skribbane 1 drunk cat 12 assorted CDs 28 cheap paperbacks 2 packets of Roasted Rat Snax 1 portable CD player and 9 tubes of hair gel out of her mohawk, and placing them around her in convenient positions. Oh yes. I'm back. With more improved cattitude... than ever before. [ Saturday, February 15, 2003 16:31: Message edited by: Rosycat ze Pink Nephil ] -------------------- Aces off. I'm not sure what you can do about this, but you might want to try posting your problem on the Tech Support forum. :) -------------------- Aces off. Posts: 611 | Registered: Friday, January 3 2003 08:00 |

Hello everybody! I'm Rosycat and I have just joined these boards, although I have been reading them for answers and entertainment for quite some time. I am registering Blades of Exile(I have the demo) in March and am preparing for this by designing a scenario on paper. I'm writing dialologue, designing towns, writing plot, and so on. But I'm a bit bewildered. Where should I start? I was thinking of an archipelago saga, about twenty towns. And whose scenarios should I play? Tatterdemalion or whatever-it-is? An Apology? Remember, I'm just a beginner. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I really admire you people, especially Alorael  and Drakefyre, because of the mastery you seem to have for the games. I'm still trying to beat the golems in Exile 3! Well, please reply. Thanks, - Rosycat [ Friday, January 03, 2003 17:32: Message edited by: Rosycat ] -------------------- Aces off.
