It seemed like there was a fair chance of creations going Rogue or running away in terror in G1. It happened pretty often if the health got low enough. In G2 the scale of rogue/terror tipped in the favor of terror, but I still recall creations going rogue on me. In G3? Never. Not even on torment have I ever seen a creation go rogue, no matter the health or how low Intelligence I buy for my creations (I never get more than 2 anyway). Has this rather intresting element in the game been wiped away completly, or is it just so that it is extremely rare/ only happens to creations that has less than Int 2 bought for them? -------------------- "..The seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days." Odd, I beat Geneforge 1 without ever having a creation go rogue (though they ran away often enough). And I always only bought 2 intelligence. -------------------- Warning: Posts may contain misspellinks and typo.s Posts: 409 | Registered: Sunday, March 31 2002 08:00 |

I have not seen creations go rogue in GF3, but I typically make them with two points of intelligence. The few I have left at zero intelligence did not go rogue either, so perhaps that feature was removed. I was under the impression that only creations with less than 2 Int went rogue in all three games. None of my creations ever went rogue, and I rarely bought more than 2 Int for any of them. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. When I was playing as a guardian, a Fyora with no Intelligence did go rogue. Posts: 76 | Registered: Saturday, August 16 2003 07:00 |

No, creatures with and over Int of 2 can go Rogue, this I got positive knowledge of from G2. As for other creatures dominating, well that is beyond the actuall point of this topic. But going Rogue in G3 seems to be very rare, something that is rather sad since it added another level of gameplay back in G1. -------------------- "..The seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days." I've only once had a creation go rogue, and that was one that had no intelligence that I was repeatedly hitting and healing to see if it went rogue. Are you sure that Alwan and Greta went rogue (attacking you) rather than being paralysed with fear or fleeing in terror? -------------------- Barcoorah: I even did it to a big dorset ram. I don't think Greta and Alwan can go "Rogue". They are not creations, per se. -------------------- "..The seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days." They have been bought 2 int when they first come. Thats why you can control them at the beginning. Well, going rogue isn't such a big deal. You can heal it with cure effects. Posts: 122 | Registered: Tuesday, May 31 2005 07:00 |

::Laughs:: You can heal Rouge by "Cure"? Would that not mean that you should, technically, be able to convert any creation you come across with Cure? -------------------- "..The seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days." Why the hell laugh? Do you think I'm a blond woman? Well, in g1 going rogue was incurable. You have either to kill it or load. In g2, there was a place my creation going rogue very often. So I tried everything, and found this spell worked. Remove Effects (Essence: 6, Spell Energy: 60, Min. Skill: 5) – Purges the target of all negative effects, including mental ones. The higher the spell strength, the more afflictions are removed. It also worked in g3. Sorry about the wrong magic name in the last post. Posts: 122 | Registered: Tuesday, May 31 2005 07:00 |

So you're playing on stereotypes. I was assuming that was beneath you, but apparently not. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Well, I was a little angry about that woman who blame the stereotype for her stupidity. So I mimiced her as a sort of irony. Myself is a black man. We are talking about hair colour, arn't we? Posts: 122 | Registered: Tuesday, May 31 2005 07:00 |

So not only is this topic no longer about Going Rogue, but about pointless prejudice and stereotypes? O-key. -------------------- "..The seventh wave of Thrall stumbled and climbed over the slippery, piled dead and Mazzarin saw The Watcher with them and at last knew the number of his days." Threads have a habit of doing that. I'm not sure there's that much more on-topic material to be discussed for this particular topic, anyway. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
