What should I do now? I've defeated the curse and saved the valley, but now what? should I just Delete Blades from my computer? or should I modify the valley of dying things with the editor? I don't know anymore. I want to register but I can't, all my characters are on level 30!!!!!!!! -------------------- who farted? Posts: 20 | Registered: Friday, April 9 2004 07:00 |

Well, if you're trying to make things interesting, here's some suggestions: 1. Try a singleton party. 2. Give your character(s) negative special traits. 3. Try doing it all without magic. 4. Try a group of four mages, or four priests, or four warriors, etc. 5. Go berserk and kill EVERYTHING in the valley (this is what my friends do). 6. Try to find every secret room, cave, tunnel, treasure, and person in the scenario. Beyond that, I've got nothing. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. quote:Why not? If you don't have a credit/debit card, well...I sent Jeff (concealed) cash back in the day to register Blades of Exile, and he seemed to be okay with it, since he sent me the floppies :) Better yet, head to your local convenience store, Wal-Mart, etc. and get a money order. Lemmy, as you're in Australia the best non-credit card solution is to go to the post office and get an international money order. I used this method to register shareware before I had a credit card. If the reason you can't get it is income, perhaps you could try saving the money. There's no real downside to waiting - at the moment there's only 5 scenarios (including the 4 that came with the game). No doubt there'll be more scenarios by the time you've saved the money. And you still might have the registered version before those of us who use windows can get it. -------------------- We meet and part now over all the world; we, the lost company, take hands together in the night, forget the night in our brief happiness, silently. -- Judith Wright My website Posts: 512 | Registered: Wednesday, February 12 2003 08:00 |

That name is *not cool* TM. Had an all-nighter anime screening last weekend at a club I'm in called the Griffith Uni Anime Club (go figure) - they had a hentai hour at 12am. It was... disturbing? I think "strictly no tentacles" has worked it's way into my list of rules about anime. Md. Posts: 304 | Registered: Monday, October 1 2001 07:00 |

Have you been talking to Arctic recently, TM? —Alorael, who would like to request that everyone at least attempt to post on the original topic, or what passed for the topic in this thread. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

some people like Lord VoldeRmort need to actually read the books before trying to spell words from the book!! Oh and the reason I'm saying this is because I got into the top 3% in my state for spelling so yeah. If your gunna spell something please spell it right and don't make an idiot of yourself!!! -------------------- who farted? Posts: 20 | Registered: Friday, April 9 2004 07:00 |

I'm not sure on the cost of purchasing an international money order, it's a few years since I've used one. Next time you're near a post office drop in and ask. That component of the total cost should be a fixed charge. The variable component will be the exchange rate on the day you purchase the money order. quote:I think this speaks for itself. -------------------- We meet and part now over all the world; we, the lost company, take hands together in the night, forget the night in our brief happiness, silently. -- Judith Wright My website Posts: 512 | Registered: Wednesday, February 12 2003 08:00 |

Victorian. That explains everything. "Gunna" is an incorrect spelling of the slang "Gonna" (if slang can be said to have a correct spelling), while "your" should most definitely have been spelled "you're" in that instance. Furthermore, spelling is but one component of intelligible text. Grammar and punctuation are also important, and I'm willing to bet you didn't get in the top 3% for that. Sorry, but if you're going to brag, you have to expect to get shot down. :P -------------------- Rate my scenarios! quote:Oh, so that's where typing "your" when you mean "you're" came from... it's Australian slang. I've often wondered why so many people do it. Now I know... I'm Novacastrian myself. Anyway on the original topic. If you really want to buy the game, obtain the money in whatever way you can and go and get a money order from Australia Post or a bank, which ever way is easier. If someone you know is willing to let you borrow their credit card, get them to buy it for you. What I've done is put a hold on my birthday present in wait for BOA for windows. I was originally going to pay by money order. But since I found out that my mum has had a mastercard since December which proves that I should pay more attention. It's amazing how the topic discussed has changed so many times since the start; Lemmy first ask what else he could do with his unregistered BOA copy. Then everyone posted about how lemmy could register the game or how they did it.Next there was a brief defending of Jeff Vogel and an explanation why Majordomo doesn't like tentacles in his anime...This was followed by posts about spelling and Australian slangOne final thing, Are TM and the misspelled Lord Voldemort the one and the same? -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Yes, OK! I give up! Sorry everyone! Anyway, Geelong is a fetid, stinking swamp full of yobbos and alchoholics and people that shout out of cars and I hate it!!!! Oh and by the way if you're not Australian you shouldn't judge our country by what you see on TV. I was watching a documentary the other night and %40 of Americans still think Australia is %99 outback with kangaroos and koalas and all that stereotypical crap. -------------------- who farted?
