I hope they kill this forum first, so that RWG can finally attain the bottom rung before it dies. Perhaps whoever does the deed can take a screenshot or something? -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. Posts: 3335 | Registered: Thursday, September 4 2003 07:00 |

NO! I finally start playing SubTerra and the forum dies! Why? They must die simultaneously, for they are truly equals. -------------------- Born in the year 1984. War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. Posts: 1186 | Registered: Friday, June 18 2004 07:00 |

Unlike Richard White's games, SubTerra was a fun game with a very small, but nice community, and this board has remained relatively spam-free even when the interset in the game declined. It would be very nice to keep it this way and avoid this behavior: -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. What the hell are you doing? This kind of obsessive redundancy would get you Canned if it weren't done on a doomed forum. Whatever. Will all of you please stop clowning around? Meanwhile, back in the land of sanity: quote:No need to panic. There's another forum here. Why would people asume I want the last post? *Notes when to stop joking around* Anyway, so how many custom levels were made? -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Over 200 were made, I think. Not counting the ones still being made. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! Amnesia • Witch Hunt • Where the Rivers Meet • Foul Hordes Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

I'd say it's easily more than that, maybe even double your estimate. Stew Boy alone probably has close to 70 or 80 in total. I know I've made about 25 levels myself, with at least another five or so in the works, with the ultimate goal of creating the first levelset made by a single player. -------------------- Either I'm crazy, or everybody else is nuts. quote:I think he was talking about the custom levels that come with the game. In which case, from memory, I'd say he's more or less on the spot. Haven't gotten through the whole game, so there's probably more. Does each scenario design contest and what not have hidden levels? -------------------- Born in the year 1984. War is Peace. For the custom levels, my count (which was really more of a guesstimate) included all the contest packs, plus the "Zozo & Isi" pack, plus all the levels on the caravelnet forum that aren't included in a pack. I don't think I counted any level more than once. And as far as I can tell, only the Prime set has hidden levels, one in each row. Also in that set, each level in the top row has a hidden area containing the hard mode exit. -------------------- Either I'm crazy, or everybody else is nuts. Funny how you can still post in this forum even though it's 'gone'. Edit: About the custom levels, I just counted them and got 9 in 2003, 11 in 2004, 14 in 2005/6, and 15 so far in 2007. Oh, and 30 for ST2. That makes 79 in total. Just to clarify. :) [ Friday, June 22, 2007 15:45: Message edited by: The Stew Boy ] Posts: 587 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2003 08:00 |
