Those are fraternal twins, which are caused byfertilization of two separate eggs. Identical twins are spawned by an egg that splits, producing twins that have identical DNA...thus the same gender. Fraternal twins cannot possess the same deoxyribonucleic acid because they are the result of two separate ovum. Iffy, DNA dictates gender among other things.
