Well, I just finished exams, watched several close friends graduate, and am about ready to head off on that long trek back to the beautiful place known as Jersey. I know that I get out earlier than a lot of schools, and so I'm quite curious, when do people normally break for the summer? When do people start? How do breaks influence things? Yay for finishing school. My last day of classes was on Tuesday, and we have finals all week. My last one (Chemistry) is on Monday. Ergh. At least it will go better than today's. My written exams are done at the end of next week, but I still have orals in August. But then I'm mostly done with my Bachelor's degree (aside from one course and a major project I have to complete). My finals are over in a few days. After that, there are a few days of extra school (although we won't be studying anything relevant, most likely, having finished everything for the year). After that; beautiful, glorious and holy summer break! *coughs* -------------------- ~ Eschar Blacke Posts: 13 | Registered: Monday, April 30 2007 07:00 |

Nalyd has no finals, being in 7th grade. He took the OATs (Ohio Achievement Tests) last week, though. School ends on June 4th. Oh, and since he won't be posting a celebration topic, his birthday is on May 8th. He's turning 13. Last day of school is Tuesday. Finals go from Friday to the following Thursday. I have to say, I'm anxious for this semester to be over. I still have two term papers and four finals to deal with in the next two weeks. In other news, one of my term papers allows — um, I mean requires — me to read a book on dirty Latin words. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. School ends June 7th this year. I'm a freshman in high school, so I just have semester finals later this month. *sighs* College seems so close now. [ Saturday, May 05, 2007 14:44: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

I'm so glad I don't have to take tests anymore.....but I do sort of miss the carefree college lifestyle. Before if I tied one on all weekend, meh skip Monday morning class. Now if I tie one on all weekend, *groan* I still have to go to work. Posts: 145 | Registered: Sunday, February 18 2007 08:00 |

I get out of school in exactly one day and 23 hours. I'm officially three finals and two tax returns away from saying goodbye to the Spring '07 term. I cannot wait. I didn't find this term as hard as last one, and it certainly went by faster. But four months off school look like sweet heaven right now. Again, cannot wait. At least it wasn't the Optometry Admission Test, which is what comes to mind when I see OAT — yes, I am aware that I'm crazy. I just finished out my first semester of actual college classes on Thursday the 3rd, actually. I think I'll be getting something like three As and a B. Finally, all that stress just from having to go there is relieved. =x.x= I can focus on what I really want to do for a while. EDIT: Turns out it's three As and two Bs. I got a B in Western Civilization, but forgot Physical Science counts as two grades due to the lab. This brings me to an even 3.5. =^.^= [ Thursday, May 10, 2007 21:16: Message edited by: Whyte Shadow ] -------------------- http://whyte-shadow-neko.deviantart.com - My drawings!
