I am typing up a story that is based on my scenario idea, Muffins n' Hell.
Here is the character information, prologue, and the first chapter. Enjoy!

Main Character detail:
Aldo-human-very skilled in melee, strongest of group, good endurance
Sssch-slith-very skilled in pole, strong, high endurance
Mrrrhrrr-nephil-very skilled in archery, little melee, very fast, high endurance
Michael-human-very skilled in mage/priest spells, weak, never goes into battle (much)

Prologue: There are four adventurers. They have great skill and are called on much. And they got called on. They arrive at Fort G to investigate a strange portal. What they find is strange…

Chapter 1:
Michael: It is biting at my leg!

Aldo: It looks like a muffin!

They soon see a horde of muffins. They are now in between the strange portal and the muffins.

Mrrrhrrr: this happened so sudden, there is no escape.

Sssch: of course, we could go through that portal…

Michael: that is impractical! We…oof

He is easily dragged to the portal. Ouch, it burns.

Aldo: Uhh, it looks like hell.

The later chapters are longer and better.
Stay tuned for chapter 2!

Edit -now easier to read!

Needs work. More adjectives, clear up action with *blahblahblah* marks. Make it more clear who is talking.

Chapter 2:

All: (censored)

Mrrrhrrr: they have not found us, we can rest.
They rest for a bit, then they went off to explore.

*Combat*
6 muffins 1 demon muffin

Aldo: What is this! More muffins!?!

Sssch: I think we found a plague.

Mrrrhrrr: (purr) there is a demon like muffin

Michael: As if they aren’t demon enough, they attacked us all of a sudden back there (points to portal).

After the conversation, Aldo moves up and attacks a muffin. Sssch goes and strikes it too, killing it. Mrrrhrrr decides to shoot a muffin twice that now left 4 left. Then the four muffins attacked. The demon muffin didn’t move. Michael hastens himself, and his next turn came immediately. He used group heal, and then smite on three of the muffins. Two of them died. Aldo sliced up the last and Sssch killed the demon muffin. There was something strange about it, it looked as if it was casting something. The last muffin died and…
End combat.

They continue on, killed some more muffins, and found a camp. You recognize the commander.

Commander G: You’re alive? Well that is good!

Aldo: I guess you were sent here too.

The commander talks about how they were sucked in.

Commander G: Now go investigate a cave south of here, there are muffins patrolling the area. Gah! This is STRANGE!

They get rest and set out.
So they go to the cave, and fight a large battle.

*Combat*
15 muffins 1 demon muffin

They chop up the fifteen muffins and head for the demon one.

Michael: (censored)! The demon muffin is trying to do something!

Too late, it transports a haakai, and attacks. The haakai is destroyed with effort, and the demon muffin was just a stronger muffin.
End Combat.

There is double post when posting chapters, it happens. Watch for Chapter 3.

This reminds me quite a bit of Arghhhhhhhhh.

I expect to see PDN changes immediately for Aldorael, Ssschrodinger, and Mrrrhrrrlenny.

The largeness of the image may annoy readers.
It annoys me, do you think you could edit it out/smaller please?

No, it's certainly not. Why in the world do you people try to correct others when you don't even know what they're talking about?

I'm fed up with all these freakin' n---s.

Oh really? I find this much closer than the one you linked. I didn't know Arghhhh had made a story, but that one actually looks mildly thought out compared to Ed's.

You know what I'm tired of? Older members dismissing newer ones, or just insulting them for the hell of it. What Robinator said
here
has become apparent to an appalling degree. Can some of us newbies be irritating? Yes! But, fact is, certain older members (not naming names) can be the same way, and yet we don't feel the need to use some derogatory comment when they post.

Well said, Nioca. It'll probably get you banned by the oldbies, though. ;)

Anyway, just touch it up a bit, Muffin. Nice storyline, considering you're new to this, but ignore the skeptics. You're nothing compared to Ed or arghhhhhhhhh.

If you correct someone (incorrectly) about something you wouldn't have any way of knowing, they're bound to get annoyed. Get over it.

Muffin's writing reminds me of Argh's. Genuine, but pre-eminently impulsive.

So what you're basically saying is that if someone missed a small, fairly irrelevant fact or makes one tiny mistake, that gives you the right to insult them.

Don't you think you overreacted just a smidge?

By the way, to keep this on topic, I find it a bit odd that this story is written in a similar fashion to what one could find in the message pane of BoA. But since this was supposed to be a BoA scenario, I guess I can see where that comes in.

EDIT: And can someone please remove that image? It's stretching the pane to ridiculous proportions, and that's at 1028x768. I can only imagine what happens to anyone who reads this in 800x600 or 640x480.

IFM, how did you ever become so obsessed with muffins?

Those of us who remember the classic nuisances remeber the surge of emotion at seeing yet another topic or post, and immediately knowing that it would be something completely idiotic. That's not something you can read in archives. Nor can you see the topics and posts in context, as they're effectively all archives.

Don't make inflammatory comparisons, please. Don't make fun of newer members. Don't complain about older members. Don't post huge images. Don't call someone a baby for a perfectly reasonable request.

—Alorael, who has only a few comments on the story. Its humor rides entirely on the enthusiastically terse script style and the absurdity of muffins. Both tricks wear out quickly. To get a script of Dikiyobian proportions you need something more.

I'm sure with a bit of polish that story will be readable.

Nioca - You are being an idiot. Slarty compared the story to Arghhhhh(hhhhh)'s, a person he actually thought was decent (for a while). So no, he was not touchy, nor was it a derogatory comment. You on the other hand are extremely touchy and it gets annoying fast. There doesn't seem to be a topic on which you don't know more or better than someone else. Maybe in another decade you will learn that it doesn't matter, and you could just have easily not corrected Slarty, even though you thought he was wrong. Hell, I'm wrong all the time and people rarely bother correcting me anymore. Not really worth it.

No, you see, it wasn't a jab—it's funny because the huge picture was this picture of a great big baby and...oh never mind.
