You forgot about Nethergate. Just FYI. Geneforge 3's music is nice, but it doesn't fit the opening picture and overall theme. -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

Also forgot Exile 3, which had a nice little opening chord. Anyways, I voted Geneforge 2, that theme is just so haunting. Anyone who can't remember all the themes might want to go visit Tyranicus's site http://music.nethergate.net, in order to refresh their memory. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. I meant this for the newer ones (not Exile). Also, I have never played Nethergate, but I am planning on playing the newer one once it is out for windows. Geneforge 4 intro music is awesome. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Muffins n' Hell. Note that revisions of the first part is down the list. Geneforge 2 has the best music. It's epic and powerful, no cheesy little flutes or piano. And it goes so well with the picture in the begining, setting the stage perfectly for a great game. Edit: How come Tyranicus's site doesn't have Exile III's music? That one has a special place in my heart being the first Spiderweb game I played. I still think of it whenever I see the Spiderweb logo. [ Saturday, March 17, 2007 14:45: Message edited by: Emperor Tullegolar ] -------------------- You lose. In terms of which music goes with which game best, well, there's obviously Nethergate. But since that's not in the poll, Avernum 2. Geneforge 1 is a very, very close second, though. Geneforge 2 is nice, but it doesn't work so well when compared to the music of the rest of the series. Geneforge 3's music is just bad. It doesn't match up with the intro picture or the rest of the series. The music for Avernum 4 and Geneforge 3 would work better if switched. Dikiyoba. The poll's about which you like best, not which goes best with the game. And electric guitars and pianos go with everything. :P -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

Nethergate's is the best. A2's is the second best. A3's has always bothered me for some reason, and A4's doesn't match the game and gets old very, very quickly. —Alorael, who has recently had reason to notice that the A4 intro should never be looped. ...I'm getting a serious feeling of deja vu. Except this poll left out all of the Exile games. But nonetheless, I'm going to go with the A2 music, since I have yet to play Nethergate. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. Avernum 4. Not sure why. I have to say I liked all of the intro musics except for the two Blades games (which are also missing, FYI.) I accidentally voted for Avernum 2 while playing Avernum 1's music in my head. I actually love A1's theme. I can't stand A4's, G2's, or G4's. -------------------- Bring back TM or DIE. To spread the hype, as well as cause your crush's name to appear on the screen, copy this into your signature. I'd love to hear a longer, complete piece based on the theme of Avernum 2. Of the others... Avernum 3 is nice, Nethergate is kind of cool, Blades of Avernum isn't bad either. I couldn't stand any of the Nethergate themes for some reason - especially GF2 with its repetitiveness. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
