I would as well, just in a lighter color so you can see the GIFTS better.

Hmm, maybe I have a use for that CafePress shop after all. I haven't done anything with it since I tried to make a t-shirt about the Brontes. All my Bronte-loving friends didn't like it, though.

I'd buy it. Hell, I'd wear it. That thing's on the outside, after all, and I don't look down on my chest often. :P

However, while the inside joke is nice it needs some more clearly recognizable logo too, maybe on the back.

Oh, that's brilliant! I don't know if I'd buy and wear it, as it says "you're cute," and things might be wronly interpreted, but I'd like to own one.

In Germany, as a general rule of thumb you can wear questionable slogans on your T-shirts as long as they're in English (and aren't really bad, for example racist or extremely right-wing). "You're cute" ranks low on that scale, and isn't too outrageous. :P

Amazingly many people have a below-average (or non-existant) grasp of English here. I'm told this is different in the Netherlands.

Yes, that is right. At least young people here tend to speak English better than in germany. That has all to do with the TV, as in Germany all programs are in fact in german, also the English ones. In Holland many programs are in English with Dutch subtitles.

"You're cute!" isn't baffling enough to outsiders. It should be, "Spider says, 'You're cute!'"

A mug with a Fyora on it. Especially appropriate when used with hot beverages. Or a coat hangar that looks like a Wingbolt.

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

And how many Americans speak a second language with any degree of fluency? I'd bring up other English speakers, but I don't know if the same is true in other countries as well.

—Alorael, who also doesn't know if it's due to flaws in the American education system or if the unfortunate international hegemony of the English language gives assymetric incentive to pick up English as a second language.

That shirt is cute, but I don't really care much for t-shirts. I prefer longer sleeves..

Fortunately we're allowed a lot of playing around (well, working in a fun away :P ) at the workshop, so I may actually be able to do, well.. for one, a shirt like that, just better suited to my tastes.

Maybe a glasswork with, perhaps, a fyora in it.

Spiderweb merchandising could be very fun!! But the t-shirt should say "you are NEAT", it's almost the same but that's what the spiders say more often I think  MMMM Both are good.

Maybe "GIFTS for you" being the brandname :D

I cant wait to see the Artila toys and Erika dolls!! :D

A possible idea may be t-shirts with the name of the games on it.

The word you are looking for is "asymmetric". "Assymetric", if it were a word, would mean "of or pertaining to measurement of the ass".

That actually looks pretty good. The spider definitely needs to be bigger and more GIFTS-is, but pretty good.

Thanks for the FYT. That one is rather embarrasing.

—Alorael, who has edited out his original post. It didn't need to be said.

It's amazning what someone can make oneself do when one is procrastinating.
Behold, the second installment of SpiderwebWear:

As per Nalyd's request:
IMAGE(http://photos-714.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v63/66/76/141300885/n141300885_30549714_4120.jpg)

This one I couldn't resist doing, though it needs work.
IMAGE(http://photos-715.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v63/66/76/141300885/n141300885_30549715_4367.jpg)

And now in a light color shirt, just for D:
IMAGE(http://photos-716.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v63/66/76/141300885/n141300885_30549716_4532.jpg)

Yes, the font used is MaidenWord.
I figure we could slap the Spiderweb logo onto the back, to (partially) clarify things

I'm looking into maybe putting together a Geneforge line (Fyora mugs, deff), but I really don't know too much about the series.

I was kinda hoping to see more ideas, guys!

That's better, yes. I generally wear logo t-shirts in that light heather gray color, if it's available, so that's why I asked about a lighter color.

How about a Geneforge Orois Blaze t-shirt? He says a lot of shirt-worthy things.

Yes, it's the Spiderweb font, named "MaidenWord". I think I even had it uploaded somewhere... four years ago. Might still be there.

Er, you do realize that no Spiderweb game exists in which you can't move diagonally? :P

"The time between your post and someone quoting it is inversely proportional to its factual accuracy."

But I was referring to the definition of Spiderweb Software games as "games created by Spiderweb Software".

The reason I was wrong is that the object displayed is a frigging boat, and those really can't move diagonally in Exile.

Edit: As far as I know. I really need to try it out. Can you move diagonally with boats? It always seemed that there were some rocks which could block me just in this configuration:

.X
X.
