Considering that that combination of height and weight is indicative of a famine victim (or possbily a man on stilts), I certainly hope -X- is messing with us. —Alorael, who weighs between two and three times as many pounds per inch. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I do know a number of people who are either slightly shorter at that age, or slightly older at that height (being Dutch is fun). But at 112 pounds? Not likely. -------------------- Let me tell you, it's not easy being this short. - The Xian Skull Posts: 1509 | Registered: Tuesday, January 10 2006 08:00 |

Not to worry people, but I'm about 120 pounds (worked out roughly, I use stones and ounces still), and about 6 feet tall. Edit, for clarity, and in case I've messed up, I'm 8 stones and about 4 ounces. If you're actually six feet tall then you still sound like someone who may not be living through a famine but who certainly isn't getting three meals a day. On the other hand, borderline starvation is supposed to increase your lifespan. —Alorael, who can think of few things that earn one more starving artist credit than being an artist who is on the verge of starving. Food for thought but not the body and all that. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

What's wrong with really skinny tall people? It's hilarious when they trip and fall (provided they aren't injured by it). It's even funnier if their fall is hampered by something, such as a backpack or an object they are holding. :P Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

20 pounds make a big difference, SNM. Not as much as a foot of typo, granted, but a lot. —Alorael, who decided that the best way for him to lose weight is to be the first volunteer for space missions. Alas, space missions seem to require fitness. Why must the world be so cruel? Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

If you are rich enough then all you need is to be able to pass the physical exam and training. 20 million dollars can take you a long way up. It'll probably drop once they get the commercial program off the ground literally. Besides once you are weightless it's not weight, it's just mass. If I remember correctly when I was 17 years old, I was 5 foot 6 inches tall and only 85 pounds. I was really skinny and had trouble gaining weight. Of course that changed when I got a roommate who when I came back from dinner told me that pizza was on its way and here's how much I would owe for my half.
