I doubt it. SubTerra is only for Windows (even if SubTerra 2 is only for Mac), and yet many see it as the only potentially worthwhile non-JV Spidweb game.

I've finished them all. I started playing about the time E3 was released and beta tested the rest.

It would probably be more useful to ask "how many of these games have you won?" My answer would be 4. (A2, Nethergate, G1 and G2) I might finish G3 eventually, but it doesn't look too appealing. (Just like I keep planning to order Exile trilogy CD "later".)

And I am surprised that there are at least 3 people who not only registered, but also completed both Exile and Avernum trilogies, as well as every other game made by Jeff. One of them is apparently *i. Who are the other two?

Alas, I have merely played A1-4. One of these days I need to give Nethergate a shot, though... possibly after JV is done revamping it.

I'm really really surprised at the lack of people who have beaten the Exile series. Granted, I've only 'beaten' E1. You'd think there'd be more, unless all the oldies have run off.

Considering that most Spidwebbers were less than 10 years old when Exile 1 came out, it's not surprising that few people here have played the full version. Most 10 year olds don't register shareware.

A1, A2, A3 (well, almost; I got to Rentar and got bored of trying to beat her up), G1. I have played some Nethergate, and the CD is sitting back at home, so I may finish it at some point. Also, I'm currently playing through A4, albeit slowly.

For some reason I never really got into Geneforge 2, and I don't know if I ever downloaded Geneforge 3. Perhaps making the editor for the first one gave me too much insight on how the game worked and spoiled the magic of it. Or, on the other hand, maybe they appeared at some time when I didn't really have time for RPGs. If I ever have scads of free time I may pick them up, though.

I am tempted to argue that the reason so few people have talked about beating the Exile trilogy, is because the people who prefer Exile are smarter, and therefore are less likely to respond to every single thread with some random piece of information about themselves that no one else cares about. ^_^

I started playing Exile games when I was 7, I never completed E1 or E2 (I'm not even sure I registered them). I beat E3, Nethergate, G1, A2, and A3. I have registered BoE and BoA. I also registered A1 but didn't care for it much and didn't have the patience to complete it. I never registered G2 and G3, the first Geneforge was great but one was enough for me. I'm working my way through A4, though I somtimes hop to different games for a day or two (I'm also trying to complete Commados 3, and finish Neverwinter Nights for the billionth time). I'll eventually complete A4, but it may take me some time.

Still need to finish GF1-3 and Nethergate. At least I got the summer ahead. GF1 will be done by the end of the month. I should be done before GF4 and the new Nethergate.

I'll be the first to say that Nethergate deserves to be replayed many times, but if you have not already played it, you might want to wait for the new version. It will be the same story after all. :P

Whoops, sorry. I guess I got it wrong. It must be because it has been a while since the last SubTerra 2 thread.

Where did you get that from? The beta I played was for Windows and there was no mention of either Linux or Mac verson. I don't think the game ever made it out of beta, so if you are waiting for it, don't hold your breath. However, original SubTerra was very fun and is now free.

That doesn't seem to have stopped a lot of people from playing both Exile and Avernum series. :)
