a favorite, what would it be? A sandwich? A vacation spot? A position? A hobby? A sport? All this hysterical stuff has gotten on my nerves and its time to break out the fun again. Tell us about your favorite ________. Edit - I forgot to put in my favorite thing. More than anything else I love to be lying flat on my back in bed. It's a nice bed. Edit 2 - As Marlenny has noted below, you can have multiple favorites. Also, feel free to stray from the things I've listed, as you may have other things that you consider favoritest, like a food, a compulsion, or whatever. You get the idea. Edit 3 - Marlenny has now edited her post, but if anyone is interested in learning her favorite sandwich, sport, position, or vacation spot I would be happy to tell you via PM. Edit 4 - Marlenny has re-edited (see below) so for the love of God don't send me any more PMs. Please. dear god. bringing up this sort of thing in the chats is bad enough, but on the forums? I'm afraid some of my answers would break the code of conduct. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |

Were Thuryl's responses more mysterious than they at first seemed? I can't quite puzzle out if he's actually answering the questions, and if so, what his answers are. In any case, here are my illustrated answers. Favorite sandwich: (Prefer it on normal bread, though.) Vacation spot: I can't say that I've ever really been on a vacation, but if I were to go, I'd want to go to Europe, and this seems as good a place to start as any. Position and hobby: same as Marlenny. (EDIT: Or perhaps I should say, corresponding to Marlenny's.) 2nd choice position: 2nd choice hobby: Or really, reading anything from that time or before. Thuryl's post was a reference to the Rogers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music, which contained a song entitled My Favorite Things, which contains these lines: Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things [ Wednesday, March 08, 2006 08:23: Message edited by: Tyranicus ] -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty? Hmmmm.... I had gotten a different image when I first heard that. Although the movie was in russian (which I cannot understand) being translated (very briefly) for me by a friend who spoke only russian and hebrew (which at the time I barely understood). -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? I think the more appropriate variation on that song, courtesy of ISIHAC, would be [bzzz] on [bzzz] and [bzzz] on [bzzz] [bzzz] [bzzz] [bzzz] and warm [bzzz] [bzzz] [bzzz] [bzzz] [bzzz] tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things —Alorael, who likes skribbane and sniping, preferably simultaneously. Sandwich? Salami on wheat, cheese optional. Lettuce is a must, and hot sauce is always good. Vacation spot? Preferably somewhere far away from everything. Middle of nowhere camping/backpacking is always fun. Position? Sleeping... which is rare right now. Hobby? Not being overwhelmed by schoolwork. Sport? American Baseball, National League. Designated hitters are downright un-American. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion.
