I anticipated that giving this community the ability to self-reflect with the archive search would cause some interesting developments, but what I hadn't expected was that old memes would be revived even more frequently than they already where. What's next - a flurry of "What did you last.../are you currently..." topics? That'd be like, so 2004...

Means of transportation to work/school: Bicycle, train when I visit my parents on weekends.
A RL nickname not previously mentioned here: None, really. Oh wait. In elementary they called my "The Professor" for my glasses and smartassyness.
Worst choice of Halloween costume you've ever had: I don't do Halloween.
A mythological figure you identify with: Tough. Gandalf if that counts as mythological. Otherwise... Odysseus?
A Simpsons character you identify with: What is "Simpsons" - some TV show?
Favorite Sesame Street character: Don't watch TV.
Favorite Spidweb game character: PC-wise, Adrianna from Exile or Mycroft from Avernum. NPC... Motrax.
Favorite (English) word: onomatopoeia.
Favorite cereal: Some chocolaty stuff the name of which eludes me and wouldn't mean anything to you anyway.

Contrary to popular opinion, there are many here who no longer play, or have never played, Spiderweb games. They find this forum in search of somthing else and stick around, or they are brought here by friends who do play Spiderweb games, or they have relatives on this board.

I didn't open a single spiderweb game for most of early 2005, and I have yet to play one this year (except for entering A3 once to check out a dialog message I no longer remembered, but that doesn't really count...) I still play occasionally, but much more rarely than I used to.

Worst choice of Halloween costume you've ever had: N/A, we don't really dress up on halloween.

Favorite Sesame Street character: Never watched the show. I think they have aired it here, though.
Favorite Spidweb game character: The most memorable at least is Vyvnas-Bok. He was the cracked crystal, wasn't he?

The mythological figure question seems to be the most revealing in the way of personality.

It's interesting that only one answer so far has not drawn on Greek culture. There's more out there, you know... even if I can't think of anything right now ( :P ).

Was it all that bad? I just could never beat the demo, as I always magaged to kill a monster over some important lever. From what I saw of it besides that though there have been worse things.

I played it for half an hour. It seemed a bit like a cross between Diablo and Exile. By which I mean the plot depth of Diablo implemented with the graphic quality of Exile...

I know I am one of the rare lurkers on this board who bought Homeland, finished it, and enjoyed it, but still. There were quite a few people on the Dragonlore who also thought it was a good game. I think Homeland is way to underrated. I also enjoyed playing the Alpha demo of Homeland 2 and I hope Homeland 2 will be finished someday.
