Democracy will have more of a foothold in the Middle East (as will its opponents, but when is that not the case?). Abortion will diminish while preventative measures become more widespread throughout the world (but not, I suspect, in the western part of it). The internet will be ubiquitous, and will facilitate personal freedom like nothing ever before in existance.

Of course, it's equally likely that Google will take over the world and none of this will be relevant.
