The evil monkey is a bit tall for a banner image... but besides that it looks usable.

Just make it more popular through telling people that it exists and wait for some time.

I joined too. :D

You know, why the Sliths are green - because of their scales.

Maybe you know why some slith eyes were once red - ´cause the demons, which led them were red.

But why are the eyes of the Slith Lord Followers red? Because they see the remains of their enemies always before the battle begins!

To my knowledge theres no way I can shrink it and Ephesos its the home button not a banner just so you know.
Slith Lord you are now an RIFQ admin like you wanted which has all the abilities of a mod and more. What do you want as your custom title?

Thanks to everyone in advance for helping make RIFQ better.

The best BBS software cannot help you grow a community. And given that this looks rather similar to the last of the many failures (what was its name again? I only remember Jadewolf held some position there), it will probably die like the rest. Sorry to burst those bubbles.

CSM, and last I checked (a week or so ago) it was only semi-dead.

Its not the software that I planned on getting people to join. I've gone to places with people who are on good terms with me and me them, and talked about it with them. The way I have it set up is through popular demand if you wish to call it that.

The "software" comment was in response to Spring saying InvisionFree was a good choice. It is indeed, when you go by free forum hosts (not saying much). Perhaps the best choice. But that doesn't determine the success of a board, only the ease of maintaining it. I've seen a community live on an ezboard for six years straight. In fact, the Lyceum also isn't exactly declining, and that is also on ezboard.

It's not the first week that counts. It's how many new posts you have on day 137.

Or perhaps even day 1337.

Come on. That was mandatory. You can't get mad at me for that.

You honestly don't know?! Wow. 1337 (pronounced Leet) is the name of a substitution language used by gamers, hackers, and nerds on the internet. I find it rather annoying personally, but that's just me. The name itself is a corruption of elite, as in "1337 haxxor" (elite hacker).

Edit: I hate it when I make a typo, and now it'll be there for all to see now that I've been quoted.

Not every board dies instantly you know.

Maybe it will die someday, but while it exists, we will have fun at these boards. :P

I think the age of people who commonly use annoying and difficult abbreviations and slang to communicate electronically is way above twelve. People get in the habit of doing so and will do it until the habit is slapped out of them by college, work, or being banned from forums by angry moderators.

That annoys me so much! I hate it when I'm playing a game like Everquest or World of Warcraft and meet someone named 1337 4V3N63R. I mean, this is a medieval setting, no mother is going to name her child that! Make up something awesome, like Tyranicus.

They don't know what awesome is. Actually, scratch that, they just think that awesome is when you have an obscure name that no one can read.

Tyranicus doesn't sound very medieval, not even Roman when you think about it. What mother is going to name her child that? :P

I can't talk really. Although apparently my name would fit into India quite smoothly...

Edit: That's Arancaytar, for the newbies.
