I'm not buying something that has to be marketed in pyramid schemes to make any profit. Nothing against Apple, but I wouldn't take an iPod for free. -------------------- The Encyclopaedia Ermariana <-- Now a Wiki! How did you get an iPod for free? Did you find some way to get one from one of those free iPod sites without them getting your credit card numbers or something like that? -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

Mh... is that writing style usual for the British "gossip press"? In any case, this cracked me up: quote: -------------------- The Encyclopaedia Ermariana <-- Now a Wiki! I have a Creative Labs NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra 40GB MP3 player. I ordered a 30GB, but it didn't work so I sent it back and they sent me a 40GB instead. I'm very happy with it. It plays MP3s and WMAs, it comes with some nice classical music from the Beijing Central Philharmonic Orchestra, and it's very user friendly. It's much bigger than an iPod, but it still fits in my pocket. A coworker with an iPod told me yesterday that in order to download more songs onto your iPod, you have to delete the songs that are already on it. Maybe for him. I'm approaching 1000 songs, and the only songs I've deleted are the ones I didn't want. Posts: 455 | Registered: Tuesday, May 17 2005 07:00 |

The iPod mini is probably good if you don't listen to music much but want to have a MP3 player when you do. My Zodiac's memory only has about 50 MB of music in it, although I could put more music on it if I wanted. -------------------- Important Information about Stuff Posts: 258 | Registered: Wednesday, March 9 2005 08:00 |

My iPod mini is more then sufficient. With over 900 songs, I have more then I'll ever need. [ Sunday, June 19, 2005 18:24: Message edited by: Medicine Man ] Posts: 455 | Registered: Tuesday, May 17 2005 07:00 |

My soon to be ipod shuffle will work better for my lifestyle as I'm sure a full sized ipod would be broken within a few months. With a Shuffle well I can just buy another one. Oh and for the record I hope the Queen is downloading from P2P yeah! :) -------------------- I stop rubber at 160km/h, five times a week. CANUCKS RESPEK! My Style The Knight Between Posts. If you don't have much in the way of music, that's not a reason to get an iPod Mini. Save your money and buy a CD or cassette player. -------------------- Voice of Reasonable Morality Posts: 961 | Registered: Thursday, June 12 2003 07:00 |

I love my iPod. After pining for one for two years (I promised myself I wouldn't purchase one until I was out of credit card debt), my fiancee bought me one for Christmas. I've faithfully carried it with me on my commute to work daily ever since. :) My only complaint is that the battery life doesn't seem to be the twelve hours advertised. Still, it's wonderful, especially for long road trips. Currently, The Postal Service is getting a fair amount of playing time on mine, along with other old faves like Radiohead (O.K. Computer), G. Love (Philadelphonic), and Coldplay albums other than the new one. [ Tuesday, June 21, 2005 09:49: Message edited by: Drew ] Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |
