I hate to sound like an antsy toddler, but I was wondering what the current release estimate is for Geneforge 3? By the end of December, or sometime early next year? This information may already be widely known, but I'm not "in the loop," as they say. Indeed, I'm not even sure where this "loop" thingie can be found... :P -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

If I had to make a wild guess, I would say the middle of next year. Of course I have no idea how long these things take, thats just my guess. If someone would care to shed some light on this, it would be appreciated. -------------------- There are three kinds of people in the world: those who think, those who think they think, and those who would rather die than think. One day later every time someone asks. It's why software release dates are generally stable until the thing is nearly finished, then get pushed back and back. -------------------- Barcoorah: I even did it to a big dorset ram. desperance.net - Don't follow this link Posts: 1798 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Silence, you antsy toddler! I mean... Rest assured, if Jeff knew, he would tell us. I like to think he's pretty good at letting us know all the lastest news. -------------------- The critics agree! Drakey just said that it's very near beta, which I'm guessing means that it's about two or three months away from release, but these things are always very hard to estimate. Uhh... m are you ok? If "I can't wait" is a suicidal message, I think we're all doomed to the 3rd level... (or whatever level was for suicidal people) -------------------- The critics agree! What do people mean if they say "I can't wait", though? It's not exactly something you choose to do. It's like saying "I can't grow sick". What if you do? So if waiting gets unbearable, do they just give up? Break out in a screaming fit? Such a strange notion - and yet it's an everyday phrase... -------------------- "Toleration is not the opposite of intoleration, but is the counterfeit of it. Both are despotisms. I met someone who said 'I can't wait', and when you made him wait, he pissed himself. Sometimes, people mean it. -------------------- The biggest, the baddest, and the fattest. Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

If you're having a hard time waiting (I am) just play some other games for a while to get G3 off of your mind, such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, now that's a good RPG (don't get me wrong I really like GF too) -------------------- Ignorance Is Bliss Posts: 130 | Registered: Monday, February 7 2005 08:00 |

Don't drag up dead topics, please. And yes, I am exited about GF3 as well.
