With 3473 registered members, from nearly all time-zones, we achieved a 57 visitors record. It was set on September 23, 2003 05:20 PM. Thank you all for setting this useless record. Cool. I have achieved a new all-time record by being on for nearly fifteen hours (with slight interruptions of no more than 5-10 minutes), from about 22:00 to 13:00 board time. No, I'm not as insomniac as that sounds. That's from 8:00 to 23:00 over here. Yay for a day off school! -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! Does Spiderweb record the record of visitors? If not, there may have been more some time you weren't present to witness it. Yet again, reasoning triumphs over fun! —Alorael, who has set a new board record of 6581 posts. Hooray. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Just wait, Alo, I'll overtake you. Afaik, when I joined you had over 6000 posts, so I'm posting almost double as quick. Of course, if the posting remains constant, we'll meet at 12,000, which would be in almost six years. No, Alorael hasn't always had the record. For one thing, Jeff probably held the record when there was only one post, as he posted it. Plus Alorael is only member 335, even if he skyrocketed to number one immediately when he joined, there was still another number one until the time when he joined. And remember that the joining rate was much lower back then. I know I was the first to 1000 posts by a decent margin. I think I caught up to the previous highest, either Morgan or Saunders, at 500-700. And of course at one point I was 335th in the post count order, although that didn't last long with my incessant posting. —Alorael, who fully expects to have an automated AI posting for him long before six years are up. Morgan was the number one, at least after a trend began to appear-I'm sure that at first there was no clear leader. And you only beat him to 1000 by around 50 or so... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. I was the first to 500, but then I went on hiatus, and when I came back Alorael had come and posted up a storm. I'm the current post leader if you add ikonboard posts to UBB posts - 3914 + 5997. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Jennifer Saunders, one of the moderator of this forum has not posted since 43 days. I would like to thank her but I can't. Note : this is just a useless fact, not a call for taking away her modship. -------------------- /Seawinds are calling Posts: 187 | Registered: Thursday, August 14 2003 07:00 |

I soon have 2000 posts, so I'll be catchin' up with Alo in about 2 or 3 years, if I'll start posting like I used to. ..if Drakey doesn't ban me in a week. [THIS POST WAS A SUICIDE. Has Saunders taken up lurking again? Everyone should be very, very careful. When Morgan reached 1000 Arctic and I both got quite a few posts out of it by helping him along. There were no double posts involved, but there were an awful lot of short, meaningless posts by the three of us. —Alorael, who wants to count his IB posts as well. Then he'll have somewhere around 30 more! Hooray! [ Thursday, September 25, 2003 11:38: Message edited by: Alorael ] Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Now I know why I have so many posts, thanks for reminding me Alorael. And yes, some lurking might be involved with certain people like Saunders, but no further detail will be discussed. ^_^ -------------------- KhothMk2: You don't get 72 virgin camels though Posts: 995 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Jeff Vogel had a pet tarentula, Spider. Most of us remember Lurker but those who doesn't should thanks Alorael. I would like to thank Jeff for having made Spider immortal through his games. Note : I will try to post every day in this topic to bring good informations (some might prove useless but if they look good I will post them). I never heard anything about the tarantula being dead... not that I check the page often... mainly because it's got this huge photo of the spider...
