The constitution does not allow for the federal government to have jurisdiction over such matters. However, if an individual state feels that it should be a crime, then it has the power to do so.

I don't think Nevada is economically dependent. Our economy receives massive amounts of income form gambling and mining.
Water is becoming expensive. Our fellow Clark county is devouring the state's water tables with it's almost exponential growth.

An RP allows for individuals to contribute to a storyline with their own creative and imaginative ideas. Bearing that in mind, the answer to your question is simply up to your imagination.

However, the RP has to follow the guidelines set by Goldenking's first post in the other thread.

Nance was either in Fort Dranlon or Fort Draco.

The reappearance of minor characters is an interesting concept. Besides Nance there are individuals such as Carol and the man who greets arrivals in A1. I've always wondered why Jeff keeps them around.

Um...There is no amendment against homosexuals. In the 1700's homosexuality was frowned upon, and the founding fathers made no statements concerning it.

I disagree with slapping laws against employers acting in discrimination. If they don't like a certain group of people, then they'll probably like them worse as an employee. The country was intended to have freedom, and when you have freedom you can choose who you hire.

If the government enacts laws against discrimination, does that mean that our local casinos will no longer be able to refuse service to anybody. As of right now, a casino does not have to furnish any reason what so ever as to why they ban or suspend a customer from their casino.

Spree killers should remain unnamed. Years after such incidents, the only individual remembered is the killer and not the victims.

I doubt internet surveillance has increased because of 9/11. The government freaked out in other security measures, but the internet surveillance we have now is just typical nosiness. Since file sharing is rampant, I'd say that the government rations little attention to internet. In actuality, most of the spying committed towards your computer is carried out by large companies.

Concerning advertisements, I watched a segment about the technologies in the move Minority Report. Apparently they predict devices like that being commonplace decades from now.

I wish technology stopped advancing. I'm happy with our present-day technology.

The Amish are good individuals, and they express wisdom by refusing to accept modern technology. Actually, I'm not sure if they're entirely void of it, but anyways.

I don't understand how a ceased relationship and lost employment would drive a man to inflict chaos in a shopping mall. Ok, so these people wish to commit suicide, but why cause destruction along with it?

Yeah, I've said a few egregious things before. Why don't you just forget about it? It's true I'm a bit stubborn, and only once have I apologized and discarded something.

I'm still shocked, I misread an article and everyone's in an uproar. :o
