Usually I'm all for testing limits and such, and discovering what powers exist, who has them, and when they are used. But, that was the old me. See, now I know the answers to all those silly questions. And they scare me. They should scare you.

Thank you. I didn't really want to be able to sleep comfortably any time in the next several days.

Hey. I looked up yiff. As a result I have to touchtype and continuously wash out my eyes with saline solution. How's that for an advisory?

I'm gonna have to suggest that anyone wanting to experiment with crossbreeding in the Avernum setting needs to get themselves BoX and start designing. It is really the only avenue, as everything else is just open for reinterpretation.

Gah. Well. At least there is more diversity now. Last I checked it was three Seinfeld masters and a lonely ascetic. That may sound silly, but the White cult has backwards compatibility with DOS. GAHHHHH I've said too much already!!!

Things you would like to see in Geneforge 5 in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

Not having seen G4 I feel somewhat at a disadvantage, as things I may like to see in 5 may already exist in 4.

In G1 I liked the in-town feeling of each section. This was largely gone by G3, and it would nice to have it back. I also miss outdoor adventuring, but that was never in Geneforge. As far as advances that I predict we'll see in G4 are the idea of antagonists using cover to their advantage. That would be nice to see, as the current, stupid, approach takes me a bit out of the game.

Speaking of the grue, zork 1 and zork 2 can be found here with all the rest of the junk I upload to the cloud. Windows only, although a wiki hunt will land you in Macompatible lands.

As for the other question, my party is likely to die because I don't pay close attention to their health. Me? Senselessly and dramatically. Likely from falling or drowning, is isn't drowning just slow motion falling? Without screams?

Ain't numbers a fine thing?

Edit - There is still an outside chance that people with extremely strange senses of humor will find the less humorous to be more humorous. Maybe.

I did write a script, but it is hosted at the Lyceum. I think Thralni used it in his scenario, but I'm not sure. It was not very useful. I'm working on another script now, with Ephesos, which should be more useful in terms of ... stuff.

What great looking work! Thanks for sharing.

Any chance you can continue making graphics? We have a bunch of talented designers scrambling to make scenarios and the floodgates are just about open. With any luck, BoA scenario releases should become a much more frequent event in the coming months. :D

I'm starting to harbor resentments. Dikiyoba must forego all other activities so that the story can be continued in a timely manner. Chapter development and execution is of paramount importance. Content, whatever.

This is the point in the story where I start using cheat codes so I can see how it ends. Stratergy can be employed later. :P

I'm not curmudgeonly, it's just courteous to refer to someone's work by the proper name.

And I'm still thinking on the question, and if the subject matter is something that I care to discuss.

You may notice the lack of replies. This is usually because readers find it difficult to understand poor English, and are less than forgiving when it is written by a native of the United States. The title of the thread may push people away before even reading.

Just so you know. :)

Today's poll was been sponsored by the MPAA. It was rated G, so is doomed to low box-office sales.

All available captions have been, um, captured.

Vote freely.

I deem it obscene to make visible a post count of more than 400. I'm willing to let others accumulate higher visible counts, but I'll be damned if I'll let them post more times. All my efforts will be in vain however if Dikiyoba and Alorael are the same person. That would ruin me, and likely break their keyboard. See, today I'm not even posting, since I have so much else to do. Yet I've managed several anyways.

Run, run while you can!!!! The fluffy's are multiplying!!!!

I could discuss how odd that a poll open to public viewing prior to the vote selection could be shaped like a bell curve. It would appear that quite a few people voted on how other people post, and then posted at a rate which guaranteed an incorrect vote.
The statistical chances of that happening should, however, be discussed in the statistical discussion thread that will have been formed 2 hours prior to the closure of the Stats Poll. ;)

It seems that the smart voters are waiting for the end of the month to add to the tally of the 201-225 class. Well done.

Now all we have to do is silence the boards during the next few days, while building up anticipation for Homeland:Evacuation (or whatever is coming out on the 20th of November.) That will bring the posting rate down to the majority position of 126-150, where it belongs. :P
