Solo party recommendations in The Avernum Trilogy

well personally my first charac (he ins't alone but it won't bother him to be) has just enought mage kevels to haste him and enought priest levels to make guard fear :) and all the rest is in dexterity so that he is good with crossbows and swords. I also take some point in first aid, I discovered it to finally be useful (200 points healing even once a day, it is interesting)

And I dont bother him with rooms for items, I have allways with me my iventory full of useless items like dices or almaria yellow or cups, so that it is more roleplay.

I like much the gorgons, they are kind if you like to attack cities :) I also took a simple drake, because he calls many peaople and when he desapears, he let and army behind him, I also would like to have captured an abyssal slime alas, it don't work :( !

naming a character in Avernum in The Avernum Trilogy

My first charac is allways a Nephil named Retrency (and in the first avernum retrency is covered with bandelets, so that noone can know he is a nephil), the second is always named thissa like the normal one and then I usually take celali(a priest) or jade(a nephil thieve priest) and the last one is always Mellia(amage or priest-alchemist-mage (that have all her spells at level 45!!!))

OMG exactly the same for me! when I was a child, I growth with exile, I didn't understood anythings, and haven't gone far btu I liked it!

And the tower of magic was my favorite place, because it was the only one that was on every avernum so I took place in ether and put all my items there, the demons stelth them, my hanger is endless, I SWEAR FOR REVENGE! GREA HOTH, I KILLED YOU IN THE PAST!!! I WILL DO IT AGAIN!

What to be added in Avernum 4? in The Avernum Trilogy

Personally I think few thinks should be added in the next avernum, what about you?

To me there should be:
-Murders (you can kill someone silently if you have a great assasination skill)
-more houses that can be bought, and of course, the recall stones would teleport you in them!
-trhowing knives or daggers
-houses that can be built
-Zone spells (like flame cloud or fireball, or ice wall and ect...)
-an ability that makes you can have one weapon on each hands.
-generally more spells and thathave differents effects (icelances should paralise at hight level, fireblast should make people burn for a duration ect..)(why does the lista llways have the sam numbers of spells?)
-definetly more unusual abilities, like to fly or to make a special attack that hurts and drain life, or an attack that teleports you, or an attack that makes you defend this turn and if someone attacks you, you block his attack and you make a conter attack)
-generally more plasticity (well it isn't a god translation of the word in french) you know, for example, you shoulkd be able to work as a mercant, or to be a bad guy and ally your foes against your friends and the like.
-a safe travel that enables you to fly at the third level.
-a more realistic thievinng feature, you might have to hide to break a door or to pick it's lock, but the magic way wouldn't ahev such problems, but might be harder to use (tryely harder to use) and you shouldn't be able to moove a create like this, ni front of everyone, and the items that you put on the floor would be stealth if they arent in a chest or in you home)
-Chest in witch you can put object, better for the roleplay.
-a skill that makes you can have more that 20 items in your bad (like dexterity or the like)
-And maybe, but that would be really the best, the fact that, you can take notes with paper and ink (you know, you can write what you want) or maybe you souldn't be able to take notes if you haven't such things.

That is all for now, Avernum is truely a great game, full of great idears (for example, that the city gets destroyed if you don't defend them) and that would be really great if thoose things are added, but I think I am not the only one that have such ideas (please add the two handed way of fighting! that was sooo coool!!!)

It Must Be Magic in The Avernum Trilogy

Well for the ressurection spell, Gahzad vaporised, so he cannot revive, and as for Erica, She's too powerful to be revived! She would have needed the finest balm of all avernum , and maybe a day she will be revived (Why have you said she died! I didn't known it, I haven't yet finished avernum 3!) And for the others spell, I think many thingd have to be chnaged, for example, why doesn't the spell list grow from one game to an other? why is ti nedded to have 20 spells by class??? Why to have taken out the bind foe spell! (it was sooo cool). The exile spells were cool too for example I truely prefers the Fireball from exile than the fire blast, a zone hurt was a great idea, with the principal cible, whith more dsamages, it was cool and ligical, tha might be the difference between fireblast and divine fire, and for ice mances and lightning sqpray, the ice lances could slow cibles for example and the lignthning spray might prevent casting spells for a turn or sumethning like that, And what about flame cloud? My favorite spell! :'( I think in Avernum 4 there might be much more spells, I am sure many gamers would enjoy helping the developpers for that purpose... There is one other thing I regret from exile, Why can't we take a weapon in each hands!!!! Plerase mr developpers, hear my cry and bring back thoose cool thing from exile to avernum! (I know a weapo,n in each hand can be powerful but with great disaventages It can eb balanced and fun!)

And for the magic weapons I think that It might be possible for people to add tree + to a weapon but it will be much more expensive each times, and why can't we take out a + we added (I remember the waweblade I got in avernum 3, whom I added a +10 to ice and regreted it since It was the last the vanati mercan could offer :'( and there is no way to get one via the character editor...
