Can anyone recommend a powerful streamlined party for Avernum 4? The last time around my party was really weak. Thanks alot. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I was thinking of buying Avernum 4 to play on my work mac even though I would rather have it on pc. My question is, how does this party sound? 1)Slith fighter 2)Human fighter 3)Nephil Priest 4)Human Mage I just don't know which feats and things to take. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! For the first play through? I have decided to play the series from the beginning. Thanks. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I threw away all my lizard haunches and mushrooms so I could haul more loot and now I need to rest and have no food. Where is the cheapest place to get food? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Now that I have dispel barrier and vahanatai lore, I forgot the spots I was in where I could use them in the early game. Anyone remember some? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Cool, I did it. But for my fighter/priest should I put points into both pole weapons AND melee weapons? He is a slith so I was using a spear but I bought a fine waveblade and it does alot better. If I should stick with pole I will reload and not buy the waveblade. Thanks. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Thanks Drakefyre. If I make them custom what points do they get respectively? I don't want them to overlap in specialization. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I tried to use the 2 man party of fighter priest and mage priest. What skills/attributes do they need? And is that better than 2 mage priests? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I don't think I am looking for quite as much of a challenge as singleton. I have never finished the game although I have gotten pretty far. Any 3 or 4 character suggestions? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

What's a good, unusual party for Avernum 3 that has no trouble finishing the game and can take advantage of the games perks and items? Thanks. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I am pro shaper but I have had greta tagging along and she is now higher level than Alwan. If I take alwan do I still have a chance? And does he only follow you for the first island? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I am level 8. All my points have gone into melee, strength, mechanics and leadership. I am done with mechanics and leadership for the time being. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I think I might just train for speed and unlock. The problem is that I don't have enough essence to cast anything and I can only make something as good as a thahd. Will that make the game harder? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Ah ok. So you're saying since I won't be upping my shaping skills I can invest points in speed and unlock? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Wow, I didn't think you had to go as far as selling potted plants and trowels, that's pretty sad. I guess I would only do it if I was sure having the magic points is worth it. Why would the guy from Gamefaqs say ALL characters should get it? Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

I am currently getting it handed to me by the spawners in the Inner Mines. Any strategies to deal with these? I bought the speed spell thinking that would help but I don't have high enough skill and never have any essence. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |

Ok, I only ask because the Gamefaqs FAQ about the game says ALL characters should get both spells. Posts: 27 | Registered: Wednesday, August 31 2005 07:00 |
