Anyone else have a problem with the essence armor spell? According to the description, it's supposed to boost your health a bit in addition to giving you some protection. Now I can't say one way or another about the protection (so tough to tell), but I don't get any health boost. :( When I got to essence armor, I got a real nice boost, but nothing for the essence shield. Anyone get this to work properly, or is it a bug? Posts: 107 | Registered: Tuesday, April 19 2005 07:00 |

(possible [minor] spoiler alert) On the topic of shopkeepers not having the stuff you just sold them, why don't they have any money when you kill them? Or the items they were just showing you? Not that this is a real common occurance, but I did kill the drakon shopkeeper on the isle of spears. And even though he's got all that nice stuff and I'd just payed him 5k for an adjustment, I think all I could get from the place was a few coins and a living tool and maybe 1 or 2 other small things. What happened to the plate I was just perusing? the spores? The mountain of coins I just gave him? Posts: 107 | Registered: Tuesday, April 19 2005 07:00 |

250 days. But I spent a bunch of time wandering back and forth across the islands looking for 1 item in my stash and/or trying to forge items. Posts: 107 | Registered: Tuesday, April 19 2005 07:00 |

Ok, so I've finished the game once now (except for some problems underneath the monastery) and I think I've found most of the goodies (at least, those you can get following the more-or-less loyal shaper storyline-- dunno if there's different stuff for the rebels). So my question is this: What's so great about puresteel? Sure, you get a nice base item, but for every puresteel piece of armor out there, there're at least 2 better items that can be made or found. Anyone else feel that wandering around looking for puresteel to be made into a nice item was a waste of time? Posts: 107 | Registered: Tuesday, April 19 2005 07:00 |

Ok, I haven't had too many problems with my item creation -- as long as I can find the ingredients. Can someone out there tell me how to make/where to find the Deep Focus Orb and the Deep Crystal? I've looked everyone but the lower level of the Island of Tears (going there now) but I haven't found either of those. Thanks for any help, -Mok Posts: 107 | Registered: Tuesday, April 19 2005 07:00 |
