And also, what you need to realize is that Thuryl is only super-good at science. It's not particularly difficult to outdo him in other subjects that he doesn't care about- for instance, he's not fond of math much, obscure philosophies take second place to genital deformities (which are, admittedly, near his foreground), and sticking his dick into the nooks and crannies of literature is also not a forté.
