Geez...I've made so many different parties it's hard to tell you all of them now. I can tell you my most recent party for BoE, which I actually like, and may remake. 1. Sean (that's my real name) - Fighter - Human - Grey Armor Man (NOT the one with the orange shield, the other one with the pike). Uses pole weapons and thrown missiles. 2. Laifee (just like that name, some shopkeeper in ND has that name) - Archer/Fighter - Nephilim - Nephil archer graphic. Uses bows/crossbows and edged weapons. 3. Sovashe (think of Sovash from OG&E, one of my all-time fav scens, with an 'e' added at the end) - Wizard/Priest - Slithzerikai - Slith with energy ball graphic. Uses mage and priest spells (duh!) (start out mage, gain priest along the way.) 4. Ashleigh (Like that new spelling of Ashley - is that what it is? And yes, I did in fact see that name here first.) - Priest/Wizardess/Alchemist - Human - Green robe mage. Start out priest, gain wizard levels along the way. * * * * I seem to find archery/alchemy/thrown missiles useful, despite the fact that others don't. I voted many "haven't played." With BoE (registered and thought it was great), I have no interest to get any of those other games. I'm happy with what I have now. As far as I'm aware, there's 800+ topics over which game is better. :P That being said, I like Exile better. I discovered Exile first, and Exile seems to be more fun (for me) to play. And it's not a close call. I personally think Exile has better graphics, more engaging dialogue (I feel more immersed in the conversation), the atmosphere is better - I'm generally more immersed in the game in Exile. For this reason, I wholeheartedly refuse to support BoA. I won't host any BoA-related material at my new site, and I will never design or beta-test a scenario for BoA. At this point, I won't even bother downloading a BoA scenario lower than an 8.0 at the CSR. Detailed description. There, happy? Now may this be the last Avernum vs. Exile (or should I say. . . Exile vs. Avernum) topic in the histrory of the universe. :P On the other hand, I really encourage people to keep designing for BoE. And I will keep designing for BoE as well. My suggestion is to probably not mess with two hits at once. A warrior probably wouldn't have time to hit the enemy with both sides of his blade anyway.
