When did you guys find about spiderweb software? because when I was six my bros. and I found out about it (1996) and ofcourse I was crappy at the game (Exile 3) and I couldn't even beat the slime infestation! :o But know I can play that game and Avernum 3 fairly good ;) . I don't get the hint books, why do people always need them? You just play the game read what people say, explore and that its not that hard at all... But asking questions from people I don't mind, because you're not getting all of it, and also reading the hint book takes away the fun of the RPG eh? I had 5 favs they are: -Avernum2, 3 -Blades of Avernum -Nethergate -Exile3 And also the Blades of Exile and The exile1, and 2 weren't all that great but thats just what I'm saying its not like its true they stink. :confused: I don't know too much of question 1 but try this: Check the files to see if they are old or new and if they are old delete them but just incase you forget the file just write the file name down. P.S. I've never used or bother buying the hint books, neither have my brothers for the Exile trilogy and the Avernum trilogy and yet we've beaten them. It may have taken use a while to beat them but its worth it. I don't neccesarily see why people need hint books.
