I still cant seem to make it get through the stupid chasm room. However, i am told to go to Elgi or Egli or someplace like that, to remove the dread curse i recieved as i could not find Dahris(sp?)-Bok's resting place, and believed that it was not important. Where is this? Is it accessible in the Demo? As well, i normally grab anything i feel is of value, at the moment, i cant find anyplace to sell my spoils. So, i store anything, i dont need, or wont sell, but i cant find anywhere to do this. There is an empty house or two in Avit, would it be safe there? My opinion, agents have an infinitly larger advantage in G2 than they did in G1, but consequently, it takes away from my personal favorite in G1, the guardian, as for the shapers, they remain, more or less the same in the ratio. I did all of the Demo(G1) as my guardian, he could cast spells as well as any Agent, and I had an army of creatures so big you couldnt stop it with anything (except an equally large army of those acid spitting worms.) And i had no clue as to what was going on in the history of the game. G2, that was just ridiculous, I knew that The awakened could still exist, but the Super Serviles( forgot the name of their faction) being wrong, i mean, that is not logical!! I dont think that the usage of the spreading out of the difficult areas was good. The most difficult areas where the ones that more or less mimicked those from G1 that where EASY, the ruined school level, for instance. I personally will send a ton of angry emails to those who created Geneforge 3 if it is as poorly done as G2. I prefer G1 [ Sunday, March 20, 2005 13:56: Message edited by: avernum master ] -------------------- plz feel free to email me answers at stargazer_do@hotmail.com Posts: 69 | Registered: Saturday, November 8 2003 08:00 |

But as for the comment about GIFTS, are they the same crazy brown yellow things that all have the name of spider? As well, i cant seem to do the test of patience, i cant get the stone block throught the watery room Is it possible for anyone to aid me with this? quote:Well i work with a Nephil Ranger (Lotr Ranger, so they've got good allround)Slith Fighter, who is being modified to a ranger, a Human mage, and a Human Ranger-Mage. The most useful thing to do, is not use arrows, but if you have to, use the character editor. Steal arrows from the guards, then exit town, and Reset it. Or, if you ever run into a battle where there are friendlies about, but you dont need their help, let the oposing force finisg them off. Then help yourself to the spoils of both sides. As for the problem with viewing arrows, just move them into the side inventory, and it should show you a small number in the bottom right hand corner of the box. In A3, the Gifts of the isle of (cant remember the name, cochroaches place.)Say that they used to live down there, when you go to the ToM if you open one of the doors, you find a GIFTS in there. Yes, i have a bunch of strange occurances in A2 (unregisterd version.) 1st (and possibly most annoying) Is the Ruined fort, where the hostile Vahnantai (sp?),Ghouls and zombies, are. There's a Wheel that requires a hexagonal bar, the only ones i find, on the left side of the screen (i cant reach the right) Are the bent ones. 2nd, (and possibly the least important) Is the reasoning behind the realtion of the 'worth' of the item, and the selling price. How does that work, and how can i sell for higher? Hmm... I have heard talk of people who will make Trainers and other such cheating ways for BoA, now i ask, would it not be possible to undermind this?? I mean if all they do is use hex code modifications to change the starting values, should the values be able to be bugged, in some manner to reverse these modifications? -------------------- plz feel free to email me answers at stargazer_do@hotmail.com Posts: 69 | Registered: Saturday, November 8 2003 08:00 |

Well, it all depends on your skills. I once played the unregistered original GF as a Shaper, and me and my bronze long sword took down watch hill and many a dungeon, with only the slight help from unmodified fyoras. This also applies to my guardian. I took down stuff with my blade, but in a pinch i could shape up a storm's worth of fyoras! -------------------- plz feel free to email me answers at stargazer_do@hotmail.com Posts: 69 | Registered: Saturday, November 8 2003 08:00 |

My advice, bring back the canisters, like in GF1 there were tons in the unregistered area! Make luck worth something!! Why does the agent have to be female? Why Do shapers and guardians have to have male apearences? Why Cant there be like a new class Adept, or Rogue, that is an all around character, sharing the strengths and weaknesses of all of the classes? Why can't the people who are unregistered get like a special dungeon or quest or easter egg, that wont be possible to get if you arent registered. That way, you could do that for a while, i mean in all of the Spiderweb games i've gotten, I havent registered a single one, and yet i've probably been more thorough because of it. When you've got nothing better to do than look around for new quests, than why not search the gray spaces on the edge of your map? -------------------- plz feel free to email me answers at stargazer_do@hotmail.com Posts: 69 | Registered: Saturday, November 8 2003 08:00 |
