Empire archers don't simply have godly accuracy, they just cannot miss regular shots. Stuff like sancuary is a different story though :) It's like how magic never misses, unless you have something like an anti-magic field around you. Empire Archers never miss the ENEMY, though :)

Faking the plauges? in The Exile Trilogy

The only plague I was quite confused by was the slimes. For being so pathetic, they did a lot of damage.

The cockroaches were extremely understandable, the problem with them wasn't that they were destroying towns or that the soldiers couldn't kill them, the problem was that even a small bite could cause major disease. And that in the sheer number they couldn't kill them fast enough to make a major impact.

Troglos and Giants were more than understandable, again it wasn't that they were too much to handle, is was more than they were on par with the strength of humans and the humans really didn't want to go to war with them.

Golems - obvious
Alien Beasts - Obvious

On a note about the slimes though: One must realize that that far south area of Valorium got almost no support whatsoever, so that could have been a problem as even one soldier lost may have been huge to them.

Empire archers are a huge plus. For the fact that they NEVER miss, and aren't random. When you summon them, you know what they'll do and they'll do it well.

And can you acually capture a Crystal Soul? I've tried before but always resisted, every single time. I figured they were immune to it.

Interesting indeed, Where is first aid when I need it? ^_^

Oh, for good measure though, I'll have a person with level 1 priest spells and 50SP to cast ritual when needed :)

I'll try with the full archer team. One question though: Allowed to use poison?

Well, I'm pretty sure that passing it with a one man party would be posible, assuming you go a poison fighter with priest spells, buying a lot of the skills from the venders around southern exile that provide them. I'm just looking more for a 6 party challenge ^_^

That's unfortunate though.

I thought the slimes were very interesting, I just with their difficulty was significantly harder as the idea behind them was excellent, especially if a much more powerful alien slime was created.

Hi, just recently got Geneforge 2. Is it posible to complete the game without fighting monsters? I'm hoping to create a character designed to do this, but want to know if it is posible before going out and doing it. Anyone have any idea?

ZKR- Khoth was disappointing. in Blades of Avernum

Just got to meet Khoth today... didn't have an artifact he wanted unfortunately.

Level 20 team on Torment, killed Khoth, and his minions without getting hit. Create Illusions comes in handy for once, casted it 4-5 times and simple shot him down with my hasted and blessed archer and fighter, as well as cloud of blades. He was down in 3 turns, it was pathetic. Khoth should have been made a million times stronger, my mage alone with one energy elixer could have killed him if I spent his spare skill points into thrown weapons and used the blessed sling. This battle was disappointing for what I thought it would add up to be.

Although I did feel kinda cheated that I did give my character level 14 mage spell before finishing this - I didn't think I'd have the chance to obtain fireblast so early ^_^

Thanks greatly for the help so far... but I'm unsure where I am supposed to use the Opening Crystal? I have it, but the Green Gates are still up.

To Clarify- I believe it is in the room where it says it rewards 3rd year students, correct? I cannot find the key in that room.

Ah, I see what the problem is. To access the Libraby I need the key from the bookshelfs in the locked room (okay) Unfortunately, non of the bookshelfs in the Students Quarters area produce me a key. They produce me an unlock door spell (useless) but no key. I swear I've checked every bookshelf in the game that I can access at least 2 times, would you be able to give me exact directions to it? There seems to be something wrong... sorry about the typo as well.

I've searched absolutely EVERYWHERE in the administrative, searching for hidden walls, cannot find ANY path leading to a Library from this area. Did you mean something else by below the administrative section? If anyone could show me how to get to the library it would be greatly appreciated, the rest should be easy.

Okay... so the stairs to the libraby are in the administrative section? I cannot find the Libraby, which is my main problem at the moment. I'm guessing it is down a secret path in the administrative level?

I am completely stuck in every way. I have reached the final place where I should be able to stop the goo (at least I think I should be able to) but it says I can't use the controls. I read up on a few threads earlier... I haven't yet been able to open the green portucals, I haven't been able to get anything from the spiders, and I can't even find where the library is, yet alone the golem (but I do have the book). There is apparently 3 keys, I have none of them. I need some serious help- apparently I am missing a lot of things that I need to finish this senario.
