All these CD finds! Well I ran across E1, E2, E3 all around the same time. It happened when I ws really into downloading game demos. They just happened to be one of the many I downloaded, starting with E1.

The Rentar fight was appropriately difficult I believe. Perhaps somewhat static in that nothing really happens beyond her trying to cast various powerful spells which the crystal you have blocks. Though, it should not be forgotten that if one smashes the crystal then the fight will be much more difficult. I smashed the crystal shard the first time through and found myself having a tense fight. Dorkas was definitely the most interesting fight throughout the game. The setting . . . well he was in Avernum not the Empire so he really couldn't build that much beyond what Erika's basement consisted off.

What if one of his guards murders him?

Edit: Hmm, apparently I cannot enter the castle now as the guards believe I killed someone. How long will that last? It appears that you can kill people behind doors in the Castle but eventually there are repercussions.

Yes what a nice feature murder is. The king and Solberg died on my sword. Scratch that apparently King Strattus has too many guards so I loose. :(

Why he would need so much iron is a mystery. He is after all on the frontier meaning a serious lack of soldiers. Perhaps he sells the bars to a another merchant for yet more profit.

I really liked the beginning of A2. The raid on the fort by the Nephilim was great. As I've said before A4 seemed a bit rushed.

Yes. I've always thought that quests you can no longer complete should be deleted. Perhaps when you kill the mayor a message could explain that you can not help Gnass.

I never use custom. Usually A Nephilim shaman, Slith soldier, human berzerker, and a human sorcerer. True Spirit and natural mage are excellent traits for a priest and mage.
