He put the shattering crystal there for those who have no priest spells - if your party does not have Move Mountains, that area becomes accessible. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

Nudism's cause is not helped by the fact that the vast majority of nudists (or those that I've met) are insufferable morons. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

Might want to post the script - I would imagine there's something wrong with your coding. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

I'll give it a whirl, but only to keep up my streak of testing every scenario so far. Send it to morgan@3-c.coop. I'm on a Mac. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

In Avernum, a distinction is made between undead and demons. Vampires fall firmly into the undead category - meaning they can be damaged with undead slaying weapons and Repel Spirit, regardless of the level that spell is at. Apart from that, there's not much clearly defined biography about vampires - they're fairly generic mid-level creatures in Avernum. If you want to give them a story and a history, go you. While I disagree with Kelandon on this point (my idea of justice to the Avernum storyline involves a large fish hook shoved somewhere in the intestinal region), I'd also implore you not to do this. Perhaps when you learn how to spell Avernum. But don't hold your breath. Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

Out of the four, though, one won't reach fruition until November of next year, two only apply to Blades, and one has nothing to do with scenario design whatsoever. That said, I'm pretty indifferent either way. [ Monday, August 02, 2004 06:46: Message edited by: Morgan ] Posts: 2862 | Registered: Tuesday, October 2 2001 07:00 |

Personally, I'd say scrap all the parameters, and leave it up to the designer. That way each scenario is judged on its merits, and those who are able to design the best scenario in the given time period will win. You might want to post a formal announcement topic as well.
