I believe tonight they will clear the AT. Well, yesterday, since it's past midnight over here.

So, goodnight everyone.

I'll bet on Aran and his sucking skills.

EDIT: I won't worry, I have faith in him. He'll do just fine.. Great sucker, him.

.. I mean, so I've heard.

Anyway, it wasn't important.

I don't. I didn't even start yet. Go ahead and do what you said you would.

And that goes for both you. We have done our share, and more. Your turn.

I don't mind snatching the BoE bit, but I doubt I wish to witness the locked goods of former GC topics.

So.. no one has ET 11-13? Guess I'll just take those then :/.

EDIT: Except him, of course.
Anyway, 11-13 ET done, from Items (poll) to Couple questions about e3.

EDIT:... I have a strange urge to save practically everything again just so I could get rid of those extra folders which came when I saved topics opening them page by page. Now I could it the other, faster way.. O.o
I doubt anyone needs to try and convince it's unnecessary. Because I already know, and will do it in any case. Damn :P .

Um, I thought of doing it that way when I started on Geneforge, but then I would have had to type in the name of the topic by hand every time. So I didn't.
Don't you need to?

EDIT: I mean right-clicking on the topic's names and saving them like that, instead opening each separately.

That's nicely explained Aran, but unfortunately I don't understand what you mean. After reading your post about a dozen times, I must admit it makes no sense to me. If you want me to make understand, you have to use simple words. A lot. And repeat things. Step by step explanations are usually the only ones I get.
Mostly because I'm too lazy to try and work my brain more than a little :P .

EDIT2: Nevermind, nevermind. I need sugar to understand..
Anyway, I got bored and saved the rest of Geneforge. So it's done now. Completely.

Okay, there is a timed poll on p17, which I cannot vote in. That also means I can't see the results, and if I can't see them I doubt I could save them either.

So.. anyone who can, save this poll: http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=001045

EDIT: Well, pages 17-19 done, from The anama treasure to Sharimik Key Deposit. Except the poll though. Somebody do something.

Let's see now.. all of General, check. Almost all of avernum, check. That's today and tomorrow covered, then on Monday the Exile trilogy, so I guess I'll claim 23-25 and 17-19.

EDIT: There is a topic 15 pages long on p23 >.<.. Why must you all speculate about every single tiny unimportant thing so much? Damn you, I say. Damn you.
Well, 23-25 done, from boats on surface to How do you "Hex Edit"?.

I just checked Mariann's list.. Like you said, she probably left Geneforge out accidentally, and it'll probably be on thursday as that's also missing. So, in any case, no hurry with that. We're doing quite fine actually, and so I think I'll watch a movie before saving more ET :P

Practically all the polls in Avernum say 'This poll has been moved to another forum'. That can't be good.

Will any of the mods save the topics from theirs?

EDIT: 22-24 done, from question about goblin cave.... to Ghukbar's Pit

Ah, it's late, just about to hit midnight over here. I'll continue tomorrow, if need be.

Right, Geneforge not important now. Hum, well.. Avernum 22-24 for me then, though I'm not sure if I can save all those today because my computer's acting up and refusing to behave even when I threaten it with a restart.

The last 45...? O.o What are you talking about? Do you mean the Show topics one? I have it automatically on Show all topics :/.

Look, when you type in the name for the poll, just put .html after it, and it won't be saved as just text.

And I have now from help plz to Last button to push out of 25-27, Avernum.

EDIT: Oh! Eh, whoops.. topics on page 5 are from 2003, not 2004. My mistake, shall go and save the rest now.

Well, working on second-hand translation here, but; Polls: right-click, select Show source, save the text as HTML. And that's basically it, but anyone who knows better is free to explain more fluently.

EDIT: Page 7 done, and when I'm done with Geneforge, I'll probably tackle some Avernum ones.

EDIT2: Page 6, check.
Since Mariann said all those topics that haven't been posted in the last 45 days will be purged, wouldn't it be enough if I just saved the topics from Geneforge till page 5?
And add page 5 to done as well. Now to get over the distress of hearing that Geneforge may not be amongst those to be purged. All that hard work.. in vain. Damn you :P

EDIT3: Eh, guess I'll just go and save page 9 of General. [done: Gather around, people. to Site Sucking Software? , without the three David said he got.]
Also, 25-27 of Avernum.

Anyway, page9 done, and that's spore batons to Geneforge 2... Wishlist?

EDIT: Pg8, check

I don't believe in cut downs. I most certainly will try as much as I can to get everything safe, even if it seems like waste of time, and space. Which it might be, but the memories of those topics would haunt me. I'd rather they didn't.

Unless I run out of space, of course.

EDIT: Okay, that's.. from convince me 'bout this game to Disregard Please (15-10), done. Yay.

Well, I figured out a way how to save polls :/. Unfortunately, I've no idea what I'm doing in English :P .

This purge doesn't affect the dusty and closed Misc. right? Just checking.

EDIT: You know what? Hands off! I claim all of Geneforge. Mwah.
EDIT2: Pages from 15 to 11 done.

Wow, really? Gee, thanks! I hadn't realised that, silly. What I really asked was how to save that very results window. Yeah, how? Got Windows Me, if you must know.

And I shall now go and save pages 15-10 of Geneforge. Except maybe polls.

EDIT: 15 done, even the poll. Does it matter if they're not in exact order, topic by topic? They are in certain folders, like Geneforge - p15, p14, p13 etc.

EDIT2: Right, forget my question about how to save polls. I had to figure it out on my own since Thuryl was no help at all :P .
Also; page 14 done.

I'll help as soon as I can (I'm at school now), though I'll probably save Geneforge threads first since there are some there that are important to me. Unless someone beats me to it (and that would be good! The more, the better, as they say).
Anyway, few more hours, and I'll be on my own computer, hopefully saving like crazy.

EDIT: Wait a minute.. how does one save polls? Ctrl+S doesn't seem to be working on this computer (admitted, school's).
