Dang, PSP didn't download...crud! Oh well, pics:

EDIT: Image too big, and for the sanity of browsers, I decided to just leave it a link.

That is my picture one year ago when I was 14. IMAGE(eek00000.gif)

This is a pic earlier this year when I tried to fit myself into a locker that was only about 6in or so in width. No, I'm not in pain, I'm laughing my head off.

quote:
But he was also a teacher, and it seems to me that he told us that God was loosening up. RC, do you honestly believe that God has not changed ever?
What kind of a God would be if He could change? For all we know, He could be loving us at one moment and then destroy the world with no regret the next, not worrying about sin Himself! And also, I believe the Bible and here is what it says:

quote:
Malachi 3
6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the LORD Almighty.
quote:
Numbers 23
19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
20 I have received a command to bless;
he has blessed, and I cannot change it.

quote:
It seems to me that he has been backing off, giving us more freedom.
God does not change, humans on the other hand do. It seems to me that WE have been backing off, giving ourselves more freedom.

quote:
But how much, and what kind of sin, exactly? To say that all sin is equal is wrong; the Bible does not say this at all, regardless of how many opponents and fundamental supporters of Christianity would have it.
quote:
Ezekiel 18:24
"But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.

It says here "a sin." What sin is it? It is just sin in general, meaning that it could be lying, murder, thievery, or anything. Now, I agree that there are diferrent punishments for sins (like for murder, an electric chair. For thievery, time in jail. Etc.) but sin is sin and is equal in God's eyes. Well, it says here that he will die for any sin...that doesn't sound like the punishments are any diferrent...

This is a diferrent type of death, a spiritual one...

quote:
Matthew 18:8
If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
That eternal fire is the spiritual death that the verse is talking about. If you've sinned and haven't asked forgiveness for it because you don't care enough to do so, by the rules of Christianity, you have a one way ticket to eternity in Hell.

The good thing about multiple accounts is if you somehow lose your password or reset your email address for the account to one that doesn't exist, you have four or more backup accounts that you can use oh so freely...

That and it's funny when you confuse people by using multiple login names/PDN's. IMAGE(tongue00.gif)

If you haven't noticed, all three of my accounts have posted here. I am so cool. IMAGE(cool0000.gif)

Well, it worked! And the problem was the break after all...the text numbering really didn't have an effect on it. Thanks Kel!

Dialog help needed in Blades of Avernum Editor

Okay, so I was making a very basic scenario and I wanted to make a very basic dialog conversation. After some trial and error with coding the script, I got the it to work but when I load the town, it gives me this error:

Dialog script error: Improper block definer in line 29.

Yet the conversation runs normally and everything seems to be working fine...here's my town dialog text:
begintalkscript;

begintalknode 1;
state = -1;
nextstate = 1;
question = "Sunny Jim";
text1 = "You meet Sunny Jim. _What do you want, friend?_";

begintalknode 2;
state = 1;
nextstate = -1;
question = "YAY YOU WORK!!";
text2 = "I WORK!!!11!";
break;
Here's my town script:
begintownscript;

body;

beginstate INIT_STATE;
break;
beginstate EXIT_STATE;
break;
beginstate START_STATE;
break;
The NPC has it's 3rd memory cell set to 1, all other attributes are set to 0 and it's script is pointing to the unchanged basicnpc. How might I go about removing this error?

Thanks,
Reality Corp.

...and less work on the piraters as well, when they could just use one already premade Username/Password as opposed to a more secure random code with it's own calculated password.

If Jeff really isn't joking about that scenario then I'm gonna...be very...surprised. And I will definately not check the spelling mistakes in it :P

I am currently working on a scenario that's pretty short, hoping to release it somewhat soon, depending on how long it takes me to figure out how to get the dialog working.
