Frostbite is now released to the public (Thanks to Ephesos for the CMG.) Thanks to all the testers and graphic artists who made this scenario possible. Without further ado, here you have it. Edit: Mac version is now ready to go. [ Friday, March 23, 2007 16:11: Message edited by: Lazarus: ] -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. Frostbite: Get It While It's...... Hot? It isn't downloading for me. It goes to a "PAGE NOT FOUND." I blame AOL. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Both the Mac and Windows version are up at the Shadow Vale database. Also, I have now uploaded Amnesia, the newest scenario by Michael Slack. -------------------- "It's sort of like Star Wars. Downloading Frostbite now. As for Amnesia... I'll hold off on that for a while. Specifically, until someone else plays it. That said, I think the Database should really have the content ratings of these scenarios. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Y'all are a bunch of alarmists. Amnesia was a quick romp. I wish Mike had done some more character development, but it really was decent. My 25th level singleton gained 2 levels, after not leveling at all in Nikki-beta. Hmmm. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I just discovered how I'm listed in the Frostbite readme. Mmmmmmmm, Alchemy Equipment, indeed. It was delicious. -------------------- Überraschung des Dosenöffners! "On guard, you musty sofa!" Posts: 627 | Registered: Monday, March 7 2005 08:00 |

I'm playing Frostbite right now, though I think I have the wrong kind of singleton. He's mainly a spell caster. Still I'm looking forward to how Lazarus will kill each and everyone of the members of the expedition. Although, if it turns out that most of them survive then that's just sad. As for Amnesia: If the story goes somewhere from the premise then it might be Slack's best work, which isn't saying much. Of course there's always the problem with Slack's dialog. Ugh! Edit: Disregard. Everything runs smoothly with compatibility mode. [ Friday, March 23, 2007 22:35: Message edited by: Smoo ] -------------------- These are my scenarios. Excellent start, though I'm having a bit of trouble getting by the wolves with this pre-fab singleton. I probably shouldn't be playing this scenario. I like to horde nondurable items until a time when I absolutely need them... which never happens. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

You need to try to conserve your herbs, but getting the stuffing kicked out of you and having to use boat loads of holly to heal isn't going to get you anywhere either. You need to find a happy medium between being wasteful, and using so little that you lose lots of HP (or die) Don't worry, it only gets harder. :P [ Saturday, March 24, 2007 07:17: Message edited by: Lazarus: ] -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. The "Shadow Vale database" link is annoying. It doesn't say the general level area to go through in. If I don't know that, I can't download it because it probably will not be the right level area for my group. Edit -I meant the scenarios in the link. It's a simple database. I'm not going to go in-depth about each scenario. Anyway, recommended levels are shown in the scenario selection screen in BoA itself, and you can use the High Level Party Maker to create a party of any level. -------------------- "It's sort of like Star Wars. I meant that I want to know the level area before I download it. Otherwise I have wasted times and PC space. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Well it would still be a wasted effort. I haven't been able to get a new scenario because there aren't any ones I should play in the section at the Spiderweb website. And the ones at Shadow Vale don't say what levels are for the scenarios. And I need to know. (the last scenario I played was Undead Valley which was terrible) -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Muffins n' Hell.
