Chromite is a substance made up of iron, chromium and oxygen, known as 'ferrous chromium oxide' and mined in large quantities from Pakistan. My question is this: what reasoning could ol' Rich have had in naming his company after it?

Because chromite is a kind of stone and Ocean Bound makes one want to put a brick through one's monitor?

Well, Pakistan is an acronym. That probably explains it.

Oh, come on. This is a legit question about the origins of the Universe. That is to say, of Chromite Software.

They are made of an alloy of 70% truth and 50% belief.

—Alorael, who believes the ratio was carefully tested. Less than 20% extra belief and there's not enough belief in there to maintain the impossible ratio stably.

The two quantities aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. The ratio simply means that 20% of your beliefs are true. The rest of the truth is on a need-to-know basis. Information on whether "Chromite Software" is actually a front for Pakistan's nuclear program falls into that category.

No, it's quite clearly 70% Absolute Truth and 50% Absolute Belief. The two are not to be mixed in advanced or there are Dire Consequences, some of which include Many Capital Letters.

—Alorael, who is sure you Don't want to meSS with Capital LetterS.

Hint: take every 17th capital letter in Alorael's last 905 posts, in order. Putting them together and inserting spaces and punctuation as appropriate, you will discover Something Amazing.

You may also need some Babelfish help.

—Alorael, who specifically recommends Babelfish. Do not use a dictionary. Do not use Kelandon. Use Babelfish and you will not be disappointed.

It would almost explain how Brittany Spears got where she is.

It's actually "Britney," which is even sadder. But does it even explain the shaved head now?

This is all cleared up when you consider DTA. What does DTA stand for, you asked? Drug Test Avoidance. She doesn't want a hair follicle test for drugs done during her custody battle with Kevin Federline. Not that I think he's smart enough to think of that, but I suppose it's a possibility.

I need to lay off Access Hollywood for a while.

Traces of Access Hollywood can remain in your hair follicles for up to six weeks. I hope you're not one of the ones with outplants.
