Fantasoft co-published E1 and possibly E2. It is a separate company, and its best-known product is Realmz. I don't really like Realmz or anything else made by Fantasoft, but you can decide for yourself. Unsurprisingly, the site is http://www.fantasoft.com —Alorael, who lost all patience with Fantasoft when they made New Centurions, which is a blatant attempt to get Realmz players to pay for registration again for cool new graphics and a slightly modified system. Well, it's the opposite of Avernum. Avernum was a new engine combined with an old plot. New Centurions is the same old engine with some new eye candy combined with new plot, or as close to plot as Fantasoft gets. NC's graphics sucks! Fantasoft's graphics in general suck... Look at the screnshots for NC, the monsters and the terrain together just don't look good... Curious, I downloaded Realmz. "Underwhelmed" does seem a fair description. They overcompensated for poor graphics and interface by having way too many useless and confusing stats. In my opinion, it is a major step down from Exile 1 in quality and interface and a lesser step down for the graphics. Some may like it, but I can't see why. -------------------- Need a pet?
