I was just wondering whether anyone had made or seen any desktop wallpapers related to Spiderweb Software's series of games? And I'm not talking about the wallpapers that the games have, those are very nice though! It's nice that they're in 1024x768 size as well. I guess I could always do a print screen of a cool moment in the game and use that for my desktop...it's just I'm feeling the urge to have something Spiderweb related on my desktop. -------------------- "And if I had the choice I'd take the voice I got / Cause it was hard to find. / You know I've come too far to wind up right back where I started." - Concrete Blonde (True) http://tobylinn.awardspace.com http://toby-linn.stumbleupon.com/ http://www.flixster.com/user/tobylinn Posts: 72 | Registered: Wednesday, February 20 2008 08:00 |

I don't know of any Spiderweb themed wallpapers, but I could send you graphics files that give the fyora from GF 1-3 a mustache. -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

Well, not even spiderweb themed wallpapers I guess.... Does anyone know of any sites that have game wallpapers that could sortof relate to Spiderweb? Like I've searched for RPG wallpapers but all I've found are for specific games and characters. Like general RPG wallpapers? That aren't related to a specific game? Sorry if this post is confusing, it's hot in my office and my brain isn't focusing properly.

For Spiderweb wallpapers: you could try messing with the BoA editor, maybe creating your own landscapes, etc. It'd be a bit of work just for wallpaper, but it's a possibility. Or you could take a screenshot, which would be notably easier. If you're looking for any RPG wallpaper… well, I know that there are some for Final Fantasy games (or any games from Square-Enix, for the matter). For others, I'd try a Google images search, looking only for the largest sizes. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. Ephesos made a wallpaper of DoK's outdoors that rocks. Check that out. :) -------------------- Nikki's Nook - a heart on a string that's about to be cut. Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Druids of Krell is one of Ephesos' BoA scenarios. Link to the wallpaper. Someone made a funny Awakened wallpaper once--Enraged Slith, Dikiyoba thinks--but Dikiyoba hasn't searched too hard for it. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded • Episode 5: Spiderweb Resistance Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If we need to go into the Wallpaper realm, then I vote for Geneforge, too. I mean, essentially: Avernum is a relatively generic rpg. Geneforge has a unique storyline and a unique scenario. Posts: 178 | Registered: Saturday, March 8 2008 08:00 |

I would say that Avernum has Geneforge beat in characters, however. Only in the last few games has the story begun to heat up in Geneforge, but Avernum has always had numerous recognizable and reoccurring characters. My wallpaper will likely just be just a bunch of characters since they are what I like to draw, but I think I'll do Geneforge anyway since I, too, am quite partial to it. I'd like to do a nice job on it, so it could be a while. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Dikiyoba would like to see a picture of a bunch of Shapers in a lab looking horrified ("Dear gods, what have we done?") after unleashing a horde of GIFTS upon an unsuspecting land. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded • Episode 5: Spiderweb Resistance Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
