Responding to the e-mail sent by The_Ratt: 1. Member #4 is banned and not likely to come back. Even though member #4 (Terror's Martyr) is banned he is still an active member of the community. He still makes scenarios and can still speak on the boards through other people. Rules about him will probably always stand. And if you don't know who he is please inform youself. I'd give you a link to his HoF entry but The Lyceum seems to be down at the moment. 2. Ed is banned and not likely to come back. Ed is banned, true. But he has tried several times to come back. I believe the only rule about Ed is to not make a moniker with any reference to him or his name so as not to be confused as him and be banned without warning. It's mostly an inside joke for those of us who were here when Ed was. 3. Some of them just seem old, and/or need clarification. 4. There are new ones that we could add on. As for any other edits/additions please go ahead and post specific new rules or changes you would like to see and we'll discuss them. Nioca, last I remember hearing, the HoF was basically being discontinued. The last discussion about possible HoFers was brief and unresolved, and it seems to have simply fallen into disuse. Alright thanks Jewels. The member #4 thing makes sense, as well as the Ed thing, but unless the Ed thing is clarified newer members will not understand what that means (which is who the rule is targetted at). The one rule that really seems old is the Homeland one, though I may be missing something since I never really bothered to look at anything other than GF4 before I came a member. One rule that I personally would like clarification on is arctic. I have never heard of anyone by that name, making me think his is similar to an invisible newb. A new rule that would probably be liked, is to respect anyone with a custom title. And which member numbers are concidered an oldbies and which newbies? If someone is number #7000-8000 is he a newbie becouse for me being #10374 everyone with lower number than #9000 is oldbie but I noticed that it's not so for rest of you "oldbies". Is there a middle bettwen newbies an oldbies or you just over night become from newbie an oldbie? Post count does not contribute to becoming an oldbie. In fact, if you make too many stupid, uninteresting posts in an effort to obtain the meaningless approbation of your fellows, you get labelled as a permanent n00b, and if it gets annoying you get the custom title "Canned" which both refers to the fact that you are a spammer (SPAM is sold in cans, and this title was once accompanied by a Can of Spam avatar when we had avatars here), and is only one letter away from Banned, meaning if you continue to spam, you will be banned.
