About half of this is *i's fault for necro'ing threads, but he's an admin and so may do whatever he damn well pleases. Anyway, just after Aran posted the latest stats everyone got worked up into a frenzy over posts. Then everyone slowly calmed down. Now, however, there's been an explosion of new posts which may not even have been matched by A4's first few weeks. If we can just do this every few days, I think we might surpass any records I've seen (and cared to examine dilligently). So, how about the rest of you? Do you plan on joining in? Do you think we can keep it up? Or are you just going to be lame and watch from the sidelines? -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

To tasteful, meaningful posting! —Alorael, who has to admit that this is not a particular meaningful post. It has a message, though, and it's at least several lines long. Some of the topics have been less spammable (is that a word?). I wouldn't mind less polls and census topics and more interesting ones. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Oh yeah, we should definitely get a higher density of better topics. However, as a community building exercise, a few more pointless topics are good once in a while. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Scorpius's Corn Dog thread is the perfect example of the high quality, non-spam topics we discuss here at the currently undergoing a Renaissance Revival Spiderweb Boards. And of course, ET has shot enough BBs into the slumbering philosophical beast to wake it up. -------------------- Thuryl: I mean, most of us don't go around consuming our own bodily fluids, no matter how delicious they are. ==== Alorael: War and violence would end if we all had each other's babies! ==== Drakefyre: Those are hideous mangos. I think I've discovered the true meaning of the "Whore of Babylon" metaphor in the Bible. It wasn't referring to Rome. It was referring to these boards. ...clearly. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |

I was left speechless at the number of revived topics last night. Seriously, I just sat there, stunned. How many active topics were kicked up last night? I know there were 36 when I logged out. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |
