So the first chat is around here actually on wednesday? And the second?

"I'm not crazy!"
"Well, whatever. Maybe you just ate something really questionable, or perhaps someone hit you on the head with something large, blunt and heavy just now. By the way..." Gil nudged Grul pointedly.

Damn Nikki for luring me back!
I'll be around sometime during the chat, not sure if I'll stay for long, but I'll try.

I would, but I don't want to.

Nobody appreciates me. It's all "Igor! Fetch some wine!" "Igor! Clean up this experiment!" or "Igor! Bury this in the garden, we're leaving town in 10 minutes!"

I work 2-11pm EST (it isn't daylight savings time yet, is it?) these days, so I won't make it.

If you have an iCal or XML-based calendar (such as Google Calendar), you can subscribe to this calendar. Otherwise, you can also look at the web page (times there are in EDT, -0400 UTC):

http://www.google.com/calendar/...

I'd be especially glad if Tyran could check it and verify that the day for the second one is correct. You didn't state any day, so I assume it is the next midday after the first chat.

iCal is here:

And XML here:

For us Europeans, it's 4pm TOMORROW (i.e. Wednresday). Just clearing that up.

And I just started a new job, dammit, so I won't be able to make it then. Darn.

Pardon the double-post, but this is an update. Last night's chat is now available here. Reminder: Today's chat starts in 45 minutes from now.

Edit: Using HTML in an HTML-disabled forum doesn't quite get the job done. :P

I must send my regrets, between my network's firewall's inability to allow me to log into aim, and then kicking me off of the Internet completely, not three minutes after I got on.

I see you've wisely taken out some of the more questionable parts.

Oh, and would you consider putting it up as a text file? It's just that those html-formatted messages are rather hard to read, especially when nearly everyone uses big Comic Sans. :P

Sorry, but I prefer to use the html form because differing fonts and colors give each person their own touch. I use a silver background because the text all shows up on that. You design your site the way you want it, and leave me to design mine the way I want it. :P

I may at some point decide to upload both an html file and a text file for each chat. In fact that will probably be part of the site overhaul I have planned for either later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Whatever you did to your chat log, I find it (or not) intensely disappointing.

I'm not sure what Salmon and Slarty are referring to, but I think that even the edited version of the chat is quite an interesting read.

I think chats are inherently disappointing. You go expecting deep, stimulating conversation and you end up with the biological ramifications and sociological implications of vahnatai reproduction.

—Alorael, who meant stimulating in a difference sense. Maybe it's best not to make any assumptions.
